Very good authentic Spanish home-made food far away from the typical tapas restaurants for tourists, for a reasonable price, in a humble environment. Very worthwhile the sucking piglet. A bit scarce the desserts range though...

I was told you always have to be aware of restaurant with long menus, here I should have pay attention. This a small restaurant (more like a canteen) with more or less 6/7 pages menus...and to be honest the food tasted more like re-warmed food (from frozen food). The vegetables in the soup have the same size and taste than... More

We first discovered this small restaurant by accident, because it is not centrally situated (it's in a quiet residential area). But since we found it, it quickly became our favorite restaurant in Brussels. The owner is an excellent chef, and the food is sooo tasty! And from time to time you can get lucky and see a live flamenco performance!... More

Lovely owner that takes good care of you. Top-class tapas. Take your time to eat: it's worth it. Expect Spanish tavern atmosphere. Recommended for a layed-back evening with friends.

I am Spanish, living now in Brussels. As I have read in a review, I hardly eat in Spanish bars abroad, as it is usually fake food. But Casa Juan is not. It is a simple place, without pretensions with the menu you would find in a Spanish tavern. Tapas are real Spanish. I just tried some dishes and I... More

We live nearby and never thought of going there, because it looks like nothing special from outside. The truth is that it really is special! Great, authentic tapas, delicious fishes, friendly, Spanish atmosphere (everybody knows each other), very decent prices. To recommend!

I'm Spanish and "expating" in Brussels. I never go to Spanish restaurants when I'm not in Spain: Most of the cases they are not owned by Spanish, they rather offer Marocain and / or Southamerican mix of funny dishes (last time I saw a paella with guacamole) served in small portions that pretend to be real "tapas". We found "Casa... More
