I knew that while in brussels i had to eat their famous waffles. I tried a few and this is BY FAR the best one!!! And not expensive at all. You have to go in there and i am sure that you will come back

After having sampled many waffles throughout Belgium and the North of France, I have to say that these are in the top tier of waffles. Liège waffles, IMO are so much better than Brussels waffles. To fully enjoy the carmelized, sticky outside, and thick, warm waffle with soft inside, DO NOT get a topping! Just completely plain is best.

Just try their original waffle. They are amazing. Never had waffles this good. Not even comparable to anything I've tried back home in the states. The melted little sugar crystals form a crunchy glazing. Just superb! We will definatly stop back here next again next time I'm in Brussels!

Whenever I'm in BrusselsI make the effort to visit Vitalgaufre. They have got the best traditional Liège waffle I've had. But you have to try the Raspberry or Apple & Cinnamon. Ask them to reheat them for to you as they're gorgeous hot. Lovely and crisp on the outside and soft but with a chewy inside inside. Nice staff and... More

In Brussels, there are two types of waffles (Liège and Belgium/Brussels). Vitalgaufre has the best traditional Liège waffle you can get, it costs less than 3Euro for the plain one, and it's absolutely fantastic. They re-heat it to you and serve it warm. It's crunchy outside and soft inside, the key is.....it's not too sweet. Though there are many small... More

WAFFLES in Belgium were great because it's homeland for the divine heavenly dessert. Imagine, the normal portion of that waffles can go up to $10-15 (5-7 pounds) in my country in Asia. Here waffles were literally everywhere - the smell of it fills up Belgium's Grand Place like how Edgware Road fills up your nose with the shishas and kebabs.... More

We had the vanilla and the chocolate waffle. I preferred the vanilla one, because it had just the right amount of sweetness. The chocolate one was good as well, but very rich. Each one costs a little under 3 euros, but well worth it.

We were looking for a good place to eat Gauffres in Brussels, and based on an Internet video we tried the VitalGaufre. Pretty good Gaufre, to be perfect just needed to be a little harder, because it folded when we were eating. Otherwise, it's a preety taste and nice dessert.
