Dinner in a very cozy atmosphere

Good value for money. Everything from local and daily markets. This is why not everything from the menu is always available. We enjoyed the dinner. Very cozy atmosphere and excellent service.

This little restaurant is an amazing find, just away from the centre of Brussels but easily accessible from the Metro (Louise). The preparation of the food is brilliant. The focus is on quality and the size of the portions is ideal, not too much and not too little. Most of the party chose the €25 menu and were delighted. The... More

A la Folie offers cozy, yet stylish surroundings with simply stunning and well priced food. Both myself and my girlfriend had the 25 Euro set menu, with a lovely tapas style starter, delicious and perfectly cooked beef and followed by an incredible dessert menu. Genuinely delighted with the food and service, can't recommend it enough.

We had booked the restaurant because of its Belgian cuisine. We had no idea where we would end up, but we were pleasantly surprised. We were made very welcome and had a nice little table. Unfortunately I sat with my back to the other tables, so I missed a lot, except our direct neigbours who chatted non stop. We both... More

I have been at à la folie 2 times, it has been a little while but I am planning to go back very soon! I am glad to read a lot of very positive reviews and I agree very much with the answer of the owner as reply on the negative review that was recently posted. i remember a very... More

This lovely Bistro, it is cost are delightfully decorated. It is tucked in a small street in the Sablon area of Brussels can only seat 28 people. The food is AMAZING, the couple running it are both charming (one the waiter, one the chef). I chose the dishes of the day, starting with a take on a Tapas platter which... More

We went to this restaurant while visiting Brussels last Christmas and we had a wonderful experience. Dinner was excellent and I agree with other reviews, it was French more than Belgian, but so good! We were impressed by the restaurant decoration and all the hard work the owners have put in creating this little cozy place. Hope others can enjoy... More

We found the restaurant by accident, wandering back to our hotel, what a find. we saw it and booked it for later in the evening even though it was a taxi ride from the hotel A small restaurant decorated in a vintage fashion, very helpful front of house and excellent chef. Lovely cosy atmosphere. Restricted menu with wines to match... More

Upon recommendation by a colleague, I invited a group of friends to try this restaurant, situated in central Brussels. It is a simple affair, with vintage decoration, although the photographs on their website make it look much better than it really is. We were unimpressed by the service, which was slow (had to make several reminders to receive things we... More

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance and it was a pleasant surprise. Staff was nice and attentive (which is not a given in Brussels...), food was good (more French, than Belgian) and atmosphere was intimate/cosy with a nice "vintage" decor, great for talking with friends without having to shout over the background noise. It's not cheapest place, but -... More
