Best coffee place in Brussels!

Do go to Aksum! It is so difficult to find good coffee in Brussels, especially if you are around Central Station, or any station, where all you can get is Panos dirty water or overpriced poor coffee. As an Italian, this is a tragedy for me. At Aksum, you just get the best freshly grounded... read more

There is no better place to drink a coffee than this place, bearing the name of the famous imperial capital of the country of coffee itself! Starting from a simply superb espresso made with special coffee types changing regularly and ground in the spot. They also have a great selection of teas and tasty homemade cakes. All this in a... Lovely staff and a relaxing atmosphere. The ceiling art is amazing and the place has such a cosy feel. The coffees were great, rich and flavourful - just what we needed to get our toddle on. Definitely recommend

authentic beans roasted fresh on site. Doppio for 3 euros is a good deal. We bought whole beans for home as well. Went there twice already probably will go one more time. Best in Brussels.

Awesome coffee and great service. We had a pram in a tight space and they were great with helping us out.

I've visited Aksum three years in a row (twice a year) and they still serve the best espresso ever. Strong and syrupy. Pap, who makes the espresso, has an excellent memory and greets return customers remembering what they ordered last time. At first I thought he was joking but he truly remembers!

Whilst waiting between trains (Eurostar from the UK DeutschBhan to Cologne) we wandered through Brussels on a dreary day. Having seen many touristy places to eat and drink we consulted TA for a decent coffee shop and found Aksum, in a little off the beaten track (I.e. Not in the tourist trap around the Grote Markt) on a corner with... More

The restaurant offers a good selection of coffee. I visited the restaurant for a good coffee during one of the evening in the city of Brussels.

One of the best Coffee experience I have had in the world. PaP was a nice barista who held up a good conversation about politics, and coffee. I enjoyed the ambiance, the excellent quality beans - and drinks, mainly Espresso and also some Macchiato.
