Calm, friendly atmosphere in the café - nicely decorated inside, and happy to see that the fabulous original exterior is unchanged. Coffee and cake (lime tart) both delicious. Perfect location to fortify oneself for a shopping spree at Peau d'Ane, further along the street!

Good place to stop and enjoy a hot chocolate, quality coffee, and some nice lemon pie... Only drawback for me are the incredibly uncomfortable chairs. It made sitting too long painful.

It's amazing how peaceful this place is, considering how close it is to the market. Run by Ethiopian Christians, ut seems, it offers excellent coffee as well as hot chocolate made from solid chocolate and hot milk. You can also buy their coffee to take home with you!

Coffee is wonderful. The chocolate milk, is very impressive. We ordered a dark chocolate milk, it has real dark chocolate at bottom and serves with hot milk on top. The dark chocolate melted into the milk .... wonderful experience. We also ordered a Macchiato, very nice coffee smell and taste, little bitter but sweet. With a Lime & Almond cake.... More

Proper coffee house, freshly ground beans in front of you and served in a lovely glass mug. More bitter then the coffee you may be used to but better for it. My wife had a chai tea which was also delicious. Easiest way to find is to walk to the top of Rue de Lombard, it will be on your... More

Really great coffee, different to typical European coffee and a lot stronger, their hot chocolate is pretty good too

Aussies need to camp out here. They seriously know their coffee - Ethiopian single origin. Cakes and tea on offer also. Open 10-19h except Mon.

The coffee is a little bitter but it's coffee, compared to European standard coffee this is amongst the best. Run by Ethiopians, they grind the beans on site and pour a perfect coffee. Only criticism is they don't give you spoons to stir in sugar. Just a stick as you would get in any take away. Apparently people where stirring... More
