Great atmosphere in this old style cafe

Went only for drinks and snack so cannot judge the food they serve. Loved the place as it features loads of period. Features. Marble, glass, wood. In the toilets they have an old fashioned eau d cologne dispenser. Service was quick and attentive . The place although busy on a Friday night was not... read more

Food and service is average, go here pre opera or for a light meal,to just enjoy the wonderfully old and authentic interiors. Prices not high, can also sit outside but there are better choices if you do this.

I met up there with two friends that have had a glass of wine. When we tried to other the second round, the waiter saw us but kept serving other tables. After 10ms or so, I decided to go in and order at the bar. Well, the lady in the bar looked at me as if I was from another... More

This place survives on its antiquity and atmosphere and for a leisurely beer is OK. But avoid it if you want to eat especially at busy times. We went there for a light lunch and found the service almost farcically bad and the food seriously sub-standard. It took about twenty minutes for a couple of drinks to arrive and another... More

We stepped in here during our day trip in Brussels. It's kind of kooky inside, with an old fashioned feel. We had an early morning beer here, and planned our next steps. The service was great, and if we had more time, we would have spent a lot more time here.

We stopped by on the recommendation of our tour guide. Not only did it take a long time for our order to be taken and served, the food was not that great. I wouldn't recommend it. The place is nice too look as it has a lot of "character"

We went in at lunch time to see if we could book a table because it looked interesting inside. While the bartender I spoke to didn't speak much English we found out we just had to turn up and dinner. We did exactly that and while the place was busy we were seated promptly, sharing a table with another couple.... More

Just stopped off to rest and have a drink. Impressive old bar with much character and charm. Perhaps a little tired but if spruced up it would lose some of that character. Full of locals putting the world to rights.

Nipped in for a drink to be surprise that the food was largely snacks and very reasonably priced. I have no idea but it seemed that the whole environment had been there forever, the waiters the menu - everything. Remarkable décor, a must for a visit in Brussels get very busy so avoid absolute peak hours.

Ever since I've been to Le Cirio many years ago, I always visit when I'm in Brussels. This is definitely one of the best cafés in town. The staff are extraordinary and the place is always a pleasant and rewarding experience. I definitely recommend it.
