Good food, nice place

We ordered carbonade flamande and to drink a pint of Leffe. The food was ok, but the nicest think is the restaurant itself. Seems like not many things have changed since its inauguration in the XIX century!!!

Nipped in for a drink to be surprise that the food was largely snacks and very reasonably priced. I have no idea but it seemed that the whole environment had been there forever, the waiters the menu - everything. Remarkable décor, a must for a visit in Brussels get very busy so avoid absolute peak hours.

Ever since I've been to Le Cirio many years ago, I always visit when I'm in Brussels. This is definitely one of the best cafés in town. The staff are extraordinary and the place is always a pleasant and rewarding experience. I definitely recommend it.

We walked pass this restaurant and decided to try it because it was nicely decorated and was packed with people. It turned out to be the best decision ever, the food was surprisingly delicious, we had sandwiches and waterzooi for lunch. I will definitely go back again next time I visit Brussels.

Cafe le cirio is one of the most intimate and elegant fin de siecle cafes in Brussels unbelievable interior with staff dressed accordingly. The price reflects the cafe and the area but i think it is a must go cafe just to sit inside to admire the interior even the tiolets are cool.Only had local beer from tap but will... More

This was in our travellers guide pocket book. It's unlike any bar I have visited before. Two minutes from Grand Place (if walking in the right direction :-)) it's waistcoat ed waiters make you feel very welcome. This bar stays close to it's original 1800s heritage and for a moment you almost feel as though you are drinking in that... More

It is a beautiful bar. My wife and I had spotted it online and wanted to look in as it looks fantastic. We found a table and were served reasonably promptly. There is a large beer selection and small wine list. We were undecided wether to eat so just had a drink. It isn't very welcoming and the house wine... More

I went to Le cirio with 2 friends because our map had recommendation on it. We were expecting a classy place and very polite waiters and I got the exact opposite. We seated at a table in the center of the place (it was very empty at the time) and there was only one menu available. I choose to have... More

First, interior appearances were very impressive. Inside is like a mixture of old west America and Victoria era England. The walls were decorated with old photos, dolls, and few statues. Even the restroom doors have the retro look. Waiters dressed for the era too. What about the drinks and food? Cappuccino drinks were the best I have ever consumed! Sandwiches... More

If you visit Brussels you must call here. It is a step back in time with the décor, the atmosphere and the table service by traditional waiters. The menu covers an array of beers and food to suit all tastes and the price is very reasonable. Well worth a visit or two.....
