A fantastic spot to pop in to on an afternoon or an evening. Good selection of beer, snacks, hot drinks, their classic half and half. Served in wonderful atmospheric surroundings and with long-serving efficient staff,

Can't comment on the food as we did not eat in here. The choice of beer though is very good and the décor is brilliant. Loved the old world toilets!

While in Brussels we thought we would try a few high ranking places on tripadvisor (our own mini bar crawl) and this place was on there. Probably the most unwelcoming places i have ever been!!! When we walked in we asked if there were any seats, we received a shrug from a waiter. We then walked further in to have... More

The decor is a well-preserved Art Nouveau style elegance, but the good part stops there. This place does not welcome tourists of South East Asian origin- we are a well-traveled, American-Chinese couple visiting from New York and had the most unwelcoming experience in this establishment. The idea that you walk-in, and grab a seat where there is an empty table.... More

Thanks to the inflated prices in Le Fiacre two doors away we tried this Brasserie and what a great experience it was! Service was exceptional and the generous portions of quality food was a very pleasant surprise. Many locals were in this very busy Restaurant and I am not surprised. We will certainly visit again! The interior is very stylish... More

I went to this place with my boyfriend to have a hot chocolate and a waffle. The place was really chaotic and noisy, the waiter seemed really upset of doing his job and the chocolate and the waffle were not really exceptional. When we paid, the waiter just took the money, gave us the change and flew away without even... More

When ever my twin brother and i are in Brussels we alway's make a point of going to this superb brasserie in the heart of the city. A fantastic exterior ,proclaiming when this bar was opened ,1886 to one of the most ornate, stylish interior's of any bar or restaurant in Brussels. Mirror's abound everywere, art nouveau decor, fantastic bar,all you want for... More

This place came highly recommended but, although the selection of beers is superb and the setting looks and feels authentic, the service is an absolute shambles and they were clearly way too busy to clean the toilets because the whole bar smelled like wee. A shame because this could have been a lovely bar to enjoy a Belgian beer in.
