Nice place for a snack or beer

The interior is very nice. Food is average, beer very good, authentic. This is place for everyone, young people and old.

A nice and trendy bar in the centre, just off the Grand Place, opposite the Bourse. Very nice and stylish interior, plenty of drinks to choose.

Stopped here for dinner on my first night in Brussels. A short walk from the main square and lots of outdoor seating. Menu isn't large but the food is great. Didn't try anything to extravagant as I was just looking for something to fill my stomach. Ham & Cheese Penne Pasta did the trick. Service was good and price was... More

This place is full of wood panelling aand mirrors, a real chunk of older Brussels. The service is efficient and traditional, and although the menu isn't huge, the Waterzooi is excellent if you want something hot and tasty. I had a ginger cat as a dinner companion: it's not nouvelle cuisine or high-tech, but that's its undoubted charm.

We alway's pay this superb brasserie a visit on any trip to Brussel's.it's one of the most opulant brasseries in this city with a great range of drink's. The guilded column's,the interior with mirror's every were ,art nouveau design ,there is serious history in this place. We have ate here before but on this visit we only went for drink's... More

Enjoy the lambic italien, the pretty period interior and the idiosyncratic service! But, by all means, eat somewhere else or it will be a disappointing experience. After 20 years in Brussels I unnecessarily made the mistake yesterday of departing from this rule. They served me the classic Belgian dish Waterzooi - with pieces tough, grilled chicken in it. Quelle horreur!

After returning from Bruges, we decided to have lunch at Le Cirio. Believe me, it was the worst decision we could make. We were sitting out. There was a very rude man serving 20 tables at a time. My husband asked for Heineken which he said they dont have and look at the menu because he has no time to... More

Being one of the oldest bars in Brussels the internal decoration of this bar is gorgeous and makes a brilliant setting for a drink or three. Prices were fair, and their own range or mix of drinks added a bit of something different. I had a half and half (wine and champagne I believe?) which was gorgeous. Service was great... More

Brussels loves really good food, having more Michelin star restaurants per head of population than Paris. Le Cirio is a wonderful turn of the century (19th that is) cafe in the heart of Brussels. The interior is straight out Manet's 'Bar at the Folies Bergere' and they serve my favourite dish ever; Waterzooi chicken. It arrives hotter than Hades and... More
