Good bar with sheltered outdoor seating

This bar is close to Grand Place and is a superb place to kill a few hours whilst enjoying some of the fine local beers. It was hot during my visit but the shelter of the buildings around the establishment made it very pleasant.

Brussels loves really good food, having more Michelin star restaurants per head of population than Paris. Le Cirio is a wonderful turn of the century (19th that is) cafe in the heart of Brussels. The interior is straight out Manet's 'Bar at the Folies Bergere' and they serve my favourite dish ever; Waterzooi chicken. It arrives hotter than Hades and... More

Three of our family visited this pub in Brussels on our recent visit to the city. We went there to sample some of the famous beers and just to chill out for a while. We really enjoyed the outside seating, which was nicely shaded from the sun. It was very sunny and warm while we were there. The waiter was... More

Popped in for an after dinner drink - and our favourite bar to bring visitors to Brussels to. Amazing decor, good selection of drinks especially their half and half. Other times we have enjoyed their amazing roast beef plate and sandwich for lunch. Worth always stopping off there any time of the day!

Frenchy atmosphere, nice staff, very very nice warm wine. It's was an oasis in the rainy cold outside.

We wandered around the touristy area looking for a decent restaurant and came across this older shop from the 1880's. I ordered a nichoise salad and a witte beer and wife a toasted cheese sandwich and a glass of rose. Both were fine. It was late at night but we could see the dining area had a lot of charm.

Interesting décor and tasty food. Draught beers are good but if you ask for a Gordon's scotch or a Hoegarden you need to check if that is in fact what they have on draft or you might get a perfectly acceptable substitute. Location at the Bourse is convenient but even on a sunny day the interior of the bar is... More

We've visited here many times on visits to Brussels. As a couple in the 25-30 age range we could seem out of sorts in here. But the waiting staff are second to none having visited many cities recently, they always come out best. Excellent knowledge of the menu and beers sold as well as specific choices for different taste buds.... More
