This is for Alexandre bakery/pastry in Brusselstraat, Leuven (I didn't find it here on tripadvisor)

Nice bakery/pastry. Had the best and biggest éclair in my life! Very cosy and good sorts. It's a Belgian franchise, so I can at least recommend the one I've been at Brusselstraat, Leuven, Belgium. Great. Also, easy access to physically impaired people, is definitely a plus.

it is indeed a very nice restaurant but...not worth the price. There is no choice of dishes, so you take that risk to begin with. Also I really miss not be able to choose from a menu: that is one of the fun parts of going to a restaurant. Both degustations were very similar forms of cream cheese. The (excellent)... More

Cosy setting, good service, delicious and surprising food. Unfortunately they serve tap water in bottles and charge 5 euro for this. A top restaurant should have mineral water, or give tapwater for free.

Two Ladies make this restaurant a MUST!!! Anca Petrescu welcomes you with her soft and warm smile and guides you to accompagny your dishes with the best wines. Isabelle Arpin serves the most elegant dishes worth a Michelin star! Gault& Millau just rated the restaurant : 16/20!!!

We googled top restaurants in Brussels as we were looking for a nice place to eat for our honeymoon. We arrived and was a bit taken back by the selected menu as it contained some foods we didn't eat. Everything that we ate was perfectly cooked and seasoned. It was a delicious meal to say the least. Highly recommend.

It is a bit pricy but you would not get disappointed. Each dish is presented in a perfect way and the taste is equally good. I am truly surprised by the boer carpaccio with mushroom ice-cream and am certainly impressed by the tenderness of the beef. Pictures can help you understand a bit but you should go and taste it!

We only just learned about this restaurant and went as all other top-restaurants were fully booked. We were a bit nervous due to some of the reviews and the fact that they lost their michelin star. But boy we were in for a treat, absolutely amazing food with very clever combinations and an attention to detail that you don't often... More

A delightful gastronomic discovery in the heart of the city. Fun experience with the chef guiding you through a very short menu and the wines are suggested to accompany the dishes (short menus are the trend, they ensure top quality produce and freshness, go along with the chef: she knows). Not cheap but high-end cuisine and wines. Booking obligatory, food... More

I went there alone for dinner tonight. While food was ok, there are various areas this high-end fine dining restaurant needs to improve in order to re-enter the Ivy League: 1. Confusing menu: my first time in a fine dining place where the details of the menu aren't described but instead were simply mentioned as 'normal menu' (3 courses) and... More

It's been a couple of months since i last wrote a review ... which for me is quite a long time but i felt compelled to write another review having visited Le Alexandre yesterday evening .. and unfortunately it is not a good one.... To provide the long and short of it in one sentence... it is overcharging mightily for... More
