She took us on a marvelous, surprising journey. We couldn't have been more transported and delighted. Each moment was beautifully, thoughtfully, inventively, and perfectly done. Stepping down onto... We had the tasting menu and it was absolutely delicious! Each plate of food was beautifully presented and well explained. Highly recommended!

We have had a phantastic lunch at Alexandre end of January 2015. Although the previous star-chef has recently left the restaurant and the kitchen is now in the hands of new chef Isabelle I must say we had a top,top experience with a perfect pairing of food and wines. The starter with a combination of large shrimps and lackered pork... More

By far, this was the best of our meals during our two weeks in Europe. The service was impeccable; the staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we could possibly want, and the food was just superb. Can't speak highly enough of this restaurant -- wish we could go back tomorrow!

The food at Alexandre is ok. That's it, ok. Nothing special, nothing amazing, nothing that you don t get at a 50 eur/ person rstaurant. But here you pay around 150 euros per person. The place is very small and very hot. The service is slow even for Belgium standards. It took us more than 4 hours to get the... More

I visited in september with frienfs, the dishes were really tasty and very taken care of, although probably not the best meal i have had in my life. Service was really excellent, very polite , only environment was not too impressive @ this level of restaurant. In general a good experience , if you are into gourmet food worth to... More

This was my second michelin star restaurant on this trip to Brussels and it was an experience not to be forgotten. First off, the restaurant is small and very intimate, and the decor, dishes etc. were amazingly beautiful. The meal I had there was the longest meal I have ever had! I had a reservation for 7:30pm and left the... More

Stressful service with continuous pressing to order water, aperitifs and drinks. Simple room, few tables, not very comfy chairs. Two degustation appetizers come in the beginning: tuna pieces marinated in soya sauce with sesame and wasabi and a beef tartar with a delicate salad and a lime froth. Both left you crying for some more flavor and taste although the... More

So, I came back to Alexandre after 14 months (I actually counted the months). First time I was there I had a lunch and I admit I was impressed. Second time howeverI was AMAZED. I took the Creative Degustation Menu and frankly I can say money can't buy such experience (well worth the 130 eur though). Now I admit I... More
