It was raining and we wanted a simple place to eat. I had a hamburger and my wife had the mussels and chips. You would think that with these simple dishes you could not go wrong! However, the hamburger seemed like cheap processed meat which had been broiled. It was covered in a very thick glob of cheese which was... More

The location is very good and the service is also very good. The beer, as you can tell form the name is NO problem, so for a snack and a beer, perhaps a bigger meal this is a good choice.

A very agreeable spot for a leisurely Sunday lunch in September. The cafe overlooks the pretty Place du Grand Sablon and many of the tables are down a walking street. We enjoyed a good Liege-style (i.e. cooked in beer) carbonade de boeuf and moules marinieres accompanied by excellent frites and draught beer. Friendly and efficient service.

After touring Brussels all day it was nice to take an afternoon break and have a beverage at Cafe Leffe. The service was good and the Framboise and beer were cold and the snacks tasty. Who could ask for more?

Stopped in this restaurant for a dinner and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent and the food was equally as good. My husband had the filet with bearnaise sauce and wow - was it good! I had a kind of chicken and croissant dish and it was also very good. The beer at Leffe is incredible - definitely... More

I found this tasty and appropriate. No big experience, but solid and well served. Nice outdoor seating and a cold beer. I cannot confirm the poor rating

Sometimes you will find a small café or restaurant that is off the beaten path and full of locals. This is how we happened across Café Leffe. After several miserable meals in Brussels, we sat down and enjoyed a great one. We had several Leffes (€4.10/each) (of course) and waterzoi de volaille (€16.80), as well as Stoemp du Jour (€15.50).... More

Try the Veal Kidney, the Duck Breast, or the Sausage. This food is wonderful. This was our best food experience in Belgium during our 5 days there. The service however was terrible. The waitress ignored us and left us stranded, without the check and it was a real challenge to try to get another beer. I am guessing they have... More

This place is definitely not smart and the tables are horrendously sticky but that apart this was quite a good place to eat . Food was good ,service pleasant if a bit slow , prices not too bad . Lively without being too noisy

Staff is unfriendly not interested. We told the waiter that we felt very unwelcome as none of the staff d did not smile hardly spoke or engaged with their customers. He asked us what the problem was. Enough said. Avoid this place if you want have friendly service
