A bit rough

Lots of beers available on draught, but was served a 75% full glass (mousse was big) had to ask for a top up. Staff are fraught and service a bit hap-hazard. Moules Marinieres were a bit overdone and thrown together, moelleux aux chocolat should have had creme anglais but came with chantilly. I... read more

Cafe Leffe is in a good location within upmarket area of Brussles, lots of Antique and Art shops nearby, lots of outside seating for sunny days and the famous Leffe Branding. What lets it down the the horrific customer service, I have visited on two occasions - the first time we persevered the poor attitude from the staff and the... More

We just had a light lunch of a warm goat cheese salad and the smoked salmon plate, as well as a couple of beers. The service was just average, but the food was better than we expected based upon the reviews. Of course, the beer was excellent. It may have been a bit overpriced, but it was a good experience... We just went for the beer and thoroughly enjoyed it after a long walk in the capital. Nice interiors!

In spite of all these bad reviews, we had a nice experience. Everything we ordered was good. Yes, it's not that cheap, but not that expensive either, compared with all the other restaurants in Brussels.

Not the best intro I know but I am torn between poor and average. It is overpriced but I have found service to be standard for restaurants in Belgium. That is to say not great but not horrible. The food is quite nice and portions are large, particularly the Vol au vent and the Moules Frites. They were fine with... More
