After walking to chocolate shop across road from cafe leffe decided to have well deserved refreshment. Gentleman directed us to upstairs as we didn't want a meal. Up stairs the staff were obnoxious. We were only a party of two but looking at other tables of five or six the service was no different. Mainly no service. Very rude staff.... More

Group of 11 people arriving at Café Leffe without reservation. Waiter accepted us not very friendly, but once we were served was nicer (was quite stressed doing services downstairs and upstairs!). Food (brasserie type) was very good, good portions, and beef meat served at perfect cooking (bloody).

We ate breakfast here 2 times. The staff is not very welcoming, and the food quite average. Had to wait pretty long for our omelette. Free wi fi (slow), and good beer.

Six of us stopped by here for a late breakfast and were greeted by a very abrupt and sullen waitress whose opening words were that if we did not order within ten minutes we couldn't have breakfast. Not wanting to miss our meal we immediately ordered croque monsieurs and omelettes and were then informed that the croques were not served... More

A nice atmosphere found, out of the cold, an appreciated hot chocolate had by both of us. Buzzing place, would go again. Not sure why you have to pay 30 cents for using the toilets that are not that well maintained?!

Ok food - passable beef stew and a lasagne between two of us. This after being obviously ignored for an uncomfortably long time on entering, being asked to move tables, and then waiting for ages to order. Not quite sure why we stayed, but the food was ok in the end. Awful awful awful service, and I would not go... More

After business dinner we all agreed on where to go: Cafe Leffe. Good atmosphere and fantastic beer. My second time here with the same people.

The servers at this place are cold. When we asked for an extra glass, the server looked annoyed. There is a charge of €.30 to use the toilet! How inhospitable! The server again looked annoyed when we asked if it was true that we had to pay to use the toilet. And it wasn't even that clean. The moules was... More

After realizing that we should have booked at several restaurants before trying to dine at any of them--despite being near "low" tourist season--we landed at Cafe Leffe. We were interested in having mussels, the big thing here, and we were very happy that we decided to do so. I had the plain mussels; my husband had the spicy mussels; and... More

After a less than average meal, I was served a cold capuchino. I asked for a warm one, but instead of getting me a warm capuchino, the waitress got offended and responded that "capuchino is meant to be cold" after all "the foam is made of cold milk". Hmmm right. She ended up bringing me a bit of warm milk... More
