They take advantage of their good location to attract tourists and, indeed, location is the only good thing you get. Service is really really disappointing; the place is dirty and, coming to food, the only decent thing were French fries (we ordered T-bone steaks and a burger. A look at the burger was sufficient to decide not to touch it).... More

Go there only if you want to feel like a fool. They say they accept ticket restaurant and THEY DON'T. You order a fish and you will be served another. The problem is that anything you order will be crap. It is really expensive and worst quality. It's a pity because I live right next to this place. I should... More

Given the location of this place on the fashionable Sablon square area, we were kicking ourselves that we picked this place to stop for some refreshment. They pack everyone in like sardines in the outside seating and we were placed next to a kitchen vent spewing out hot air on a scorching hot day, which was insufferable. The waiter made... More

Innocently stopped here for lunch while walking around the Sablon on a Sunday. It was busy and we took that as a good sign. Ordered a soft drink and pasta from a seemingly pleasant chap who looked like "le patron" and who threw his authority around like he was. Food was dreadful and of the vegetarian variety not the meat... More

Located in a beautiful square away from the main tourist mecca, Café Leffe is a perfect place to soak up European life with delicious food and of course a local beer to wash it down. Very friendly staff. Perfect spot for an easy tasty relaxed meal.

Too expensive for the quality, and you have to pay 30 cents p.p for the toilet; when we complained that this was an unfair practice, we were told that this was common to all restaurants in Brussels and Paris- not true, we visited other restaurants in the city, and we live in Paris!

I knew we shouldn't have gone there, really, but we were tired and hungy. We'd just sat down, and kind of realised that the menu was only up on the board, when the waitress appreared beside us saying "J'ecoute" ("I'm listening"). Not the greates welcome. We opted for basic food - moules and waterzoi, neither of which were great. Not... More

Café Leffe is a bar/restaurant at a pretty corner at Place du Grand Sablon. It was a nice, sunny day so we sat outside on the patio and just ordered a couple of Kriek beers. We've never tried them before and there's a lot of people drinking them, so we thought we'd give it a try. It was okay, but... More

A very rude and arrogant waiter, who later told us off for not speaking French (ie ranting while trying to teach us French word for ashtray!).Terrible. We complained and asked the mngr to change the waiter, but still the service was still too slow after that... AVOID!!

The service was very unfriendly,we didn't get what we ordered and at the end we had to pay 30cents p.p. for the toilet - the women wouldn't let us out without paying.Very disappointing - we would never go there again!!
