Good for a drink but not food

A great location and good beer. However the staff were a little slow and we had to go to great lengths to get their attention. The Flemish stew I had was nice but the meatballs left my girlfriend with a very upset stomach.

I was with a friend walking the area and we decided to have a coffee and sit on the terrace since the weather was nice for an October day. We arrived and sat down we tried to get the attention of the waiter who made a signal that he was coming - well almost 20 minutes passed when he actually... More

I wanted a Leffe Ruby which they were out of. Ok, that can happen. No problem. We ordered food. The XXL Hamburger consists of a big bun of bread and two little burgers with melted cheese on it. That's it. No salad leaf on the burger, no tomato, no cucumber, no bacon, nothing. One burger was raw in the inside,... More

I was here with a disabled friend . When I went to pay I´ve realised they would not accept payment by card (...surprise surprise in Brussels) so I asked the waiter to wait for me while I was going to withdraw some money. While away, they brought the beers to the table and FORCED THE FRIEND OF MINE TO PAY.... More

I visited Cafe Leffe with my wife and son and 4 of our mates and had drinks and lunch. We went because I love Leffe and had encountered my the Leffe Brune in Thailand years back and was hoping to try it on tap. I was in luck and got to do this, and my mates tried a few of... More

Came here for a family lunch. Had an okay meal, but we were pressured in a very rude way to leave a generous tip for the staff. It is not so much the fact that service already is included in Belgium, as we usually include a gratuity irrespective os this, and would have done so in this case also ...... More

Stumbled on this place accidentally because it's near the Laduree store. We were also supposed to eat at the comic cafe about a block away but that was closed. Well, on to the review. The place itself is kind of cool specially from the outside. It has that really nice European feel. Inside looks rustic, like an old time bar,... More

It is a nice area to sit outside and people watch. We enjoyed a couple of beers outside on a nice Sunday afternoon. It is right across from Pierre Marcolini's and we had some great chocolate from there! I had the Kwak beer that was pretty strong and had a very distinct taste. My husband had the Hoegaarden and thta... More
