The service was very unfriendly,we didn't get what we ordered and at the end we had to pay 30cents p.p. for the toilet - the women wouldn't let us out without paying.Very disappointing - we would never go there again!!

I hadn't read the reviews, in fact I didn't even know of its existence, but as a fan of Leffe beer I was delighted to spot this official (is it?) Leffe Cafe on a pretty corner in Brussels. Huge disappointment inside, though. A ho hum interior staffed by the least friendly waiters that we encountered in the city. Really just... More

My husband and I were taken in by a large sign outside saying English breakfast. Turns out this consisted of 3 slices of a French loaf and an undercooked omelette. Total: 18.50 euros. Disappointing to say the least. False advertising at its best.

Been twice now to Cafe Leffe and love it. Will be doing back again in May 14. Good Belgium experience.

We stumbled upon this brasserie when walking back from Grand Place. Like other reviewers, we felt the service was rather poor. When we entered we were not greeted and found a table ourselves. I then had to ask for menus. It was also surprising to have to pay 30 cents for the toilet when you are eating in the restaurant.... More

I've been to other Leffe Cafe's (Leuven, Dinant etc) and sadly this one just seems to miss the mark. The stoofvlies just wasn't the same, the salmon lasagne and salmon tagliatelle also lacked sparkle as the presentation was not the usual Belgian standard. Service was disinterested but this is so often the case. I was hoping the reviewers below were... More

Although it looks nice enough from the outside, I would not recommend this place. Even though there was ample space on the ground floor upon our mentioning we wanted to drink a cup of coffee we were directed to the deserted first floor where we were "greeted" by a yawning waiter. Service was slow, prices high and the chocolate served... More

This place has great location and it is probably the only reason it is still in business. It took 40 minutes for nervous waiter to arrive and take our order. It took another 20 minutes to pay which we did at the exit because we didn't want to waste our time. Drinks and food are terribly overpriced considering quality and... More

During our trip in Brussels, we wanted to eat a lunch, so arrived at the Leffe Cafe on the Sablon place. When we asked place for 4 adults and 4 children all space was taken and no possibility to eat, even when we saw some empty tables. When we asked more information at the barkeeper, he answered rude. Finally we... More

We ate here because it was suitable for vegetarians. The waitress was nearly rude, but the worst came at the end: they presented us with a handwritten bill, at first refusing to let us pay by credit card, although all the equipment for electronic payment was on display in front of us. They told us they had problems with it,... More
