A very pleasant surprise!

Our party of 4 turned up here on a busy Saturday evening at 7:30pm and the place was jammed. Amazingly we were ushered in almost immediately and seated right next to another American couple who were friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting to them during our meal. Great traditional Belgian food. I specially like the stoofvlees met frietjes. The price are good and the place has a nice old style. However I recommend to go early, because is very popular it gets full of people since they open.

The food is good, tried the rabbit which is lovely. I also tried the beef stew but it's a bit bitter to my liking. The ambiance is good, great for dinner date. People there are nice too!

Nice ambience, quick service, good food, and decent prices. That's what it's all about ! Business lunch was very pleasant, with a nice mix of people ; relaxed atmosphere and good wine. All in all a worthwhile experience - recommended !

My wife and I found this place on TripAdvisor after doing a thorough restaurant search of the neighborhood. This is the exact type of place we look for while traveling, and had a good mix of locals and foodie tourists. As mentioned in other reviews they do not take reservations so you wait in line along the bar until tables... More

Nothing fancy about the decor of this place however looks can be deceptive. The food is great but as this is a popular place there are no reservations. You just turn up and wait. But this gives you a good chance to stand at the bar and have a drink or two before being called to a free table. Staff... More

This place was recommended to me by a number of colleagues in Brussels. Really busy Belgian pub/restaurant. Service was fast and pleasant. Really good food in decent sized portions. A few veggie options too. Decor is a bit tired, but as a good experience and definitely somewhere I would go back to next time I'm in Brussels.

I came here with a friend. It took us a little while to find the place, since it is one of a number of small streets all together. The place itself really looks like it had been set up at the end of the century. It is like a large dining hall, where you share tables with locals and tourists... More

If you didn't go there when you're in Brussels than you will regret for sure! Definitely enough portion with a cheap price. And the food quality and the way they made it can definitely get at least 1 Michelin star. Go earlier or you have to wait...BUT WAITING IS FxxxING worthy.
