This restaurant away from the touristy Grand Place is a good option for lunch. Prices are decent, as a meal for two with a cpuple of beers was 37 euros. We ate pork chops and chicken salad, along with belgian beer. It's a good fare but I've tasted better food in Belgium.

Very good local food! Everyone in our party chose the "Carbonade" for dinner ... Basically beef stew in a beer gravy with mashed potatoes. It was very hearty & delicious for a little less than 14 Euros. The atmosphere is very casual. The menu is written on a big board inside. Lots of variety. Great local find! The beer was... More

Large and very tasty dishes. Strong recommendation in central Brussels. The top choices on the menu are big meat dishes, both lamb, beef and pork. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Only drawback is that you have to wait in line for a table, which took us close to 45 minutes.

Fin de Siecle offered us a very enjoyable meal in Brussels. This is an unpretentious, relaxed eatery that has a neighbourhood feel to the ambience. Tables are put closely together to make it feel cosy without feeling crammed. While not extensive, the menu offers an eclectic fare. The stoemp saucisse de campagne, a Belgian specialty had an impressively smooth and... More

We ordered grilled scampis on flavoured (and amazing flavoured it was!) rice and ribs. The Ribs could have been better, but the Scampis and rice were delicious. The staff were lovely and helped with the language issue regarding the Flemish menu board (which seems to change frequently, there are no paper menus). Overall, lovely place, good food and friendly service...

We were using the tripadvisor offline city guide. We wanted some traditional Belgium food and we weren't disappointed. The menu is written on a large chalk board inside in French, although the servers helped us understand what we couldn't. We had the ham hock with mustard sauce. The meat fell off the bone. The mustard sauce was delicious. We also... More

Great food and a great staff. The food is seasonal and the menu is written on a board. I'm not sure how often they change the menu but something new is on there every day. Go early, the line is out the door.

Ate here with a group of friends the other night. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was above average for Europe, which I find substandard to service I experience in USA in general. Best dish was the beef stew. Stoemps dish was good too. Consider splitting a dish with another adult as they are quite substantial. To be honest... More

We came across Le Fin de Siecle while searching reviews for dinner in Brussels. The restaurant had solid reviews and we decided to give it a try. One visit became three visits, as we were so enamored with the food and atmosphere of this lively, cosy restaurant in Centre-Vile. The restaurant was always busy, but we never waited longer than... We went as a group around 6pm on a Friday and were able to get a table pretty easily (without reservations). It was pretty crowded when we left at about 8 pm. We ordered the local Belgian dishes (according to our waitress): Stoemp (sausage and potatoes), Carbonnades chimay (beef stew), and chicons farcis. I think the best was the beef... More
