Great food (especially carbonnade alla chimay!), generous portions, good quality/price balance, a must try if in Brussels!

Good typical belgian food, very nice waiters and good beers. What a great place to have lunch! Quality and good price. Careful they are not open every day for lunch.

We ate lunch at one of the window table in Fin de Siecle as it was a warm, sunny day. The service was a little inattentive, perhaps as we were sitting behind the front door but it seemed like they were more intent on talking to their friends as they walked past the restaurant. The food however was excellent and... More

A wonderful place with home atmosphere, small tables on the sidewalk of the street and really amazing food! We had the best beefsteaks, potatos, salads, water, beer and we paid cca 40€. They have fresh menu every day and you can order only the dishes written on the board inside. The waiter explained what every dish is since they do... More

This used to be a locals secret but word has broken out and now a lot of well-informed tourists have found out about this special little place. It's very simple. There is no sign outside and there are no menus, just a chalk board hanging above the bar. Nothing pretentious or complicated. Just great food in a wonderful atmosphere. The... More

Staying at the Brussels Marriott on loyalty points and this place was 2 minutes away...and we really enjoyed it! I really wanted to try carbonnade, the Flemish stew from this area and when I found that they had it, was sold. Loud and energetic, a young crowd with a wide range of dishes coming from the kitchen. Lots of languages... More

This restaurant has been referred to us by locals. It is at a walking distance from the old town. The restaurant decor is ecclectic composed of various old tables and chairs. The menu is on blackboard on the wall and consist of simple but tasty Belgian specialities (such as carbonate à la Chimey). The food is very good and reasonably... More

I selected it from a list of nearby restaurants while we were walking near Place Catherine. The food was great, the service was fast and the waiters were nice and helpful. The food menu is written on the blackboard inside (you can take a picture to consult it outside). They don't accept any credit / debit cards, so bring cash.

My wife and I just returned from a dinner at Fin de Siecle and had a great time. The food was excellent quality and reasonably priced. Although it was very busy by the time we left, we had no problem getting a table at 6 pm. Only thing to keep in mind is that they only take cash. We will... More
