This restaurant is a must!!! We went based in other tripadvisor reports. It was a Sunday night so I thought we wouldn't need to get there too early, as it happened we were there before 7. I am glad we were as it soon filled up and they were queuing out the door! The food is excellent (sausage and mash... More

A wait is very possible, but very worth it. Fresh, hearty, high-quality food in a vibrant atmosphere, all at an extremely reasonable price.

This place is always packed which isn't surprising as the food is great and represents good value. In many respects this a bit like what many London gastropubs try but fail to be, by serving a good range of tasty food. I love the gambas served with salad and jacket potatoes is one of my favourite dishes. Worth seeking out... More

Haven't been to Belgium often enough to know what is and is not authentic, but happy to hazard a guess that this is much more like the real thing than the many restaurants in the passageways around Grand Place. Good choice, all very straightforward, no pretension, and no booking. But it was going like a fare and the food was... More

Took the advice of many reviews and got in early. It filled up very quickly. Very friendly staff, homely comfort food, and as usual some lovely beers. The atmosphere was very lively, like a good british pub. The sausage and 'stoemp' was great and very filling, washed down with a couple of glasses of Ciney, which I'd not tried before.... More

One of the best meals I have had for a long time. The crowd is casual with a pub'ish feel. Mum and I were greeted with warm smiles by staff. We went at around 8.30pm and the very spacious (hall-like) restaurant was already choca-block full. If you go with a large group best to go earlier. When seated, we asked... More

I love this place, yet am sorry it is often so hard to get in without a wait. The people working here are very friendly and handle the crowd with ease. The food is good, simple and tasty, at wonderful prices. It's not intimate if you are looking for a tête à tête with someone. It can be good with... More

Great place, great athmosphere and amazing food! A friend of us reccommended this place and we definitely enjoyed it! We went there twice and the last time it was already midnight, but the kitchen was still open! We'll definitely go back!

Real quality Belgian dishes, relaxed atmosphere and helpful, honest staff... no wonder there was a queue out of the door all night (don't worry, it moves quickly enough to be worth it!)

Not many words needed besides the title. The place is benefiting from a concept that marries great belgium/international cuisine with reasonable prices, good beer and wine selection and very friendly personnel. Location is spot-on center of Brussels and you have plenty of options to reach it. Tourists are not aware about it too much (thanks God for that) so the... More
