Atmospheric

I really enjoyed our meal here. It was so atmospheric - who could not love a restaurant you have to get a boat to? The food standard was good and so was the service. I understand reservations are generally a good idea!

The experience of walking through the park and going across the lake to the restaurant in pretty, but it does not compensate for the poor service from the wait staff once you sit down at the restaurant. There is not 1 or 2 waiters that tend to you, instead it is an inefficient group effort on the restaurant's part. We... More

It's a nice location right in the middle of Bois de la Cambre In order to get to the island where the resto is you'll have to get a small boat. The trip costs you 1€ and gets you there and back We came for a coffee but heard that 'no can do' as it can only be served with... More

This restaurant burned down a couple of years ago and was totally rebuilt. It is a very calm place, away for the busy city center although only a mile from the hype avenue Louise and still in uptown Brussels. The sight is green and the terrace is inviting! Lunch is affordable. It takes a short boat ride to go and... More

Horrible service, unfriendly, unprofessional personnel. No organisation whatsoever. A place to absolutely avoid.

The location is nice: it's on an island (don't forget that you have to pay 1 euro to take the boat to reach it!) and that's it. We had to wait an eternity to be served and the waiters never smiled. I would not say that they were rude but not very friendly. The food was OK but nothing exceptional, the... More

This place could have a lot of potential to be a nice spot to chill and relax but yet it is another confirmation of the poor service quality in Brussels. We went there on an afternoon so it was not busy lunch hour anymore and wanted to have a drink. All the staff seemed completely lost and disorganised. It took... More
