Le Chalet Robinson is everything you could want on a quiet romantic evening. We went at dusk to the Chalet which is accessed by a quaint barge on a pulley of sorts (for €1). The fairy lights against the dark night really do give this place a wonderful atmosphere. We ate the truffle croquettes which were heaven. Only downside was... More

Delicious food but service should be improved - we were waiting for around 45 min to order a dish (after 3 reminders) and then 1 hour for a waiter who brought us the wrong meal. All in all, beautiful ambient to enjoy sunny day in Brussels!

We went on a Sunday when it was very busy. On boarding the ferry to cross to the island, the 'Captain' politely advised us that we might have to wait for a table but on arrival we were given one for 4+infant immediately. The waiter took our order within a few minutes and the food arrived shortly afterwards. The dishes... More

After many months of not coming here because of the bad service experience on pervious occasions I thought I'd give it another go. The setting of this place is amazing in the middle if an island in a lake within a huge park in brussels. The food is also good from past experience but the service has to be the... More

I come to Belgium for holidays about 2-3 times a year and I always come to this restaurant. I always have the same meal, meatballs and fries and it's so nice to enjoy with family on a nice sunny day outside on the terrace on a private island

The surprising thing is that this fantastic restaurant doesn't rate amongst the best Brussels restaurants among Tripadvisor reviewers. The location is absolutely charming, on a little island in the heart of the Bois de la Cambre, full of great ancient trees elegantly interspersed with wide areas of lawn. On a sunny day - or, one hears, in winter - it's... More

All in all, I would say the starter was more tasty than the main dish. Not bad but nothing spectacular about it. I thought the food wouldn't be good after reading the reviews, that's probably why is wasn't that disappointed... The place is nicely decorated, very modern. Service is OK, nothing much to say about that. The only highlight of... More

Brussels has MANY delicious restaurants & a flair for hospitality, but when visiting I strongly recommend that on a sunny day you book a table at Chalet Robinson: exclusive restaurant on a little island, lost in the woods (like the local Central Park), only accessible by boat. Charming, romantic in Spring & Summer, the whole atmosphere becomes magical in WINTER... More

Admittedly it was a company dinner. But surely when you have to get to dinner by ferry and you are surrounded by ducks, geese and rabbits in teh middle of Belgium, it must be a pretty cool restaurant, right? Well, the food wasn't bad (steak cooked to perfection) but the service was disappointing (was served the wrong entree three times).... More

Get a little ferry boat across to the small lake where an elegant chalet stands. Numerous staff members are kept busy with influx of visitors. Food was tasty as portions generous. Was priced a bit high, but worth it for the novelty. Service was unfortunately only average; professional when they attended to us, but difficult to grab their attention.
