Good location and reasonable service BUT we had steak tartare - don't. Husband and I were VERY ILL and son, fortunately probably, didn't like his Lasagna so left it. Shame - last restaurant on our trip of Europe so not ended well.

I came here with a friend after seeing this place a lot. We decided to try it. The choice was limited but the dishes were reasonably good. The place appears very well known always full of people. The day we went (perhaps it was different at other times) there was only one waiter and his assistant for the whole restaurant... More

If you are into good homely food well cooked and great people watching look no further. there is an eclecctic mix of patrons local and tourists and most of Brussels appears to pass you by at almost any time of day

We had coffee, beer and snacks here. The area is lively and gay. Wait staff friendly. Nothing special food wise but a must to experience nighttime fun in Brussels.

Food was basic but well prepared and presented. We sat outside on the street and enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. Service was good and prices were very reasonable.

Not knowing Brussels well, we walked for an hour or more in the city centre in search of a good honest meal, at that time of the early evening when many restaurants have not yet started serving dinner. We were trying to avoid both the fast-food places and the tourist traps, and passed Le Plattesteen once without quite being able... More

For Belgians who have emigrated to foreign countries, going to this place once in a while is a must. It feels like you have dinner with your family. Same simple cuisine and nice atmosphere. Add it a good beer and you feel home again.

We had a nice Rocquefort salad with nuts and raisons, for a very decent price. A good glass of wine, and on one of the nicest locations in Brussels where we could watch the people on the street. It is in a wonderful part of the city, with a colourful crowd. The service was friendly and prompt. Great fun and... More
