A star exhibit in the agreeably large number of traditional Brussels brasseries that haven't changed much in the last century or so. Delightful 30s-40s interior with wood panelling, nice old tables and chairs (some booth seating) and old flourescent advertising. Although the menu was perhaps a bit restricted and predictable, I enjoyed my bangers and mash, washed down by draught... More

This is a super little cafe bar/restaurant that we alway's pay a visit to ,as the beer's and the service are alway's spot on. On our last visit we just went for some beer's and no meal ,but we have ate here on other occasion's and the food is first rate at a good price. The beer was fantastic, and the... More

I am a student here in Brussels, 25, and when I walked in with a visiting family member, who went to the rest room, I went to take a seat in their restaurant section. As I was sitting, a man came over, the "management" I think, and asked me, --"This this the eating section, you can sit over there if... More

shame about the service. Traditional hearty Belgian menu, well cooked and reasonably priced. Service was a bit absentminded (would hate to come here when they're busy) but an enjoyable visit.

I like to think I'm a pretty patient restaurant patron. And I understand not to expect top notch service when eating at a casual place like this. But the service here can be deplorable. Want a second beer? Don't bother expecting your waiter to bring one. After 2 polite requests in 20 minutes, you'll want to walk over to the... More

Everything we requested from the daily menu was not available. No soup, no sausage. Service very poor. Requested salad and this one went wrong. Never again!

Fairly central and good value meals seated outside and people watching opportunities. I went here with my parents for some grub and since it was fairly late at night we got massive portions (USA-like) Nice staff and nice ambience.

We had a good enough meal here of pasta with smoked salmon and pasta with ham and cheese. Good portions very tasty if a little cold . Service was poor we waited for ages after sitting down ( we eventually seated ourselves ) for even a menu to look at. My husband enjoyed some great beers and I was pleased... More

Well to start with, my friends and I weren't greeted at the door. We had to wait around and eventually pull a waiter to the side to ask if we could have a seat, to which he just shooed us to a booth. We then waited another 5 minutes before asking another waiter if we could please get some menus.... More
