My husband and I ate in this restaurant a few times before and enjoyed the mussels, but on this occasion when we ordered the mussels again, they were cold so when we told the waiter he took them away and brought another batch however mine was a bit warmer than the last lot, but my husbands was not hot at... No gimmick. Just good food and service. Decent prices for the city centre. Had mussels (1.5kg) frites and a basket of bread and one beer for 20 euro (special of the night). Hubby and I split the food as there was more than enough and I ordered a glass of mine for myself so he could have the beer. Lovely... More

I ordered the Carbanades which arrived alone on the plate apart from a tiny portion of salad. It looked and tasted like a tin of Marks and Spencer's chunky steak and cost 16 euros. Poor value

I ate espadon aux poireaux. Swordfish with a wonderfull sauce mmmm yummy. This was the first time that ı tasted this fish and it was perfect. The plAce is very near to the grande palace. The food were very tasty. A quite place where you can comfortably chat with your friends while having dinner. The staff speak only french.

After paying 30 euros to watch some flamenco and eating some soggy cheese. We left the jazz club and walked into la moule Sacree. Two days of sitting opposite and watching all the business people stoping for lunch made the decision for us and we weren't disappointed Garlic snails and garlic frogs legs a bottle of white and the Flemish... In Brussels, never leave this city without eating Mussels. A friend took me here to try mussels as I be craving ever since I got to Brussels. Great fleshy meat, with celery and soup. Yum!

Perfect for a bowl of mussels and chips with a good bottle of wine. Nice to have something typically Belgian rather than an Asian or Indian like you get at home. Friendly family type place

We should have avoided this place, it is on the street where all the tourists go... The food was poor, the prices high and we had to wait ages to get a formal bill.

The name tell it all, the offer of mussles cooked in different ways is rich, but it's also rich the choice of seafood platters. the service is friendly and sufficiently rapid. I was seated in the second dining hall near the khitchen entrance and it was a little too simple (I would change seats and tablewear.

The food was fine but that was it. Nothing wrong but nothing special. Probably would not bother to use again. I had a salad so they couldn't get that wrong really. Prices ok for the closeness to the Grand Place too.
