I had it in my head that sometime while in Belgium I would eat mussels. And here I did in Brussels. Good bread, glass of Chardonnay, a POT -full of mussels and French fries.....plenty of food. I ate in an outdoor location and could write my daily travel notes while I people-watched and enjoyed my meal. Service was typical European... More

We went for the 25 euro fixed price meal and we were not disappointed. The mussels starter and the cod main were outstanding. Service was a bit slow but we were in no hurry so it was not an issue.

Food was excellent and nicely presented. It was noticeable that a number of what appeared to be locals were eating there. (Always a good sign). The service was a bit slow; not entirely surprising because the place was so busy. Very enjoyable and unhurried. I'm not a wine drinker, but noticed that they have a really good selection of wines... In the fish market so of course the focus is seafood. The decor is quaint and the atmosphere bistro-like. They have 2 prix fixe menus, 1st class and 2nd class. Decent service and menus. Very good food. I enjoyed eating here. Pro tip - they also have a heated outdoor area in the plaza.

We sat at the outside seating. It was a nice day to eat outside. The 25 euro was a fair price for the pi fix menu that included appetizer, meal and dessert. The croquette appetizers were good. The steak was well cooked and flavorful. The lobster was good although the claws were way over cooked. It took an hour for... More

Just visited this place, wish we had not. We had the 25 euro menu (3 euro extra for lobster). The mussels starter had shell in them and was very gritty, I know you can get grit in seafood but this was like eating a sand castle. We were brought the wrong starters twice (I almost suggested they wrote the order... More

We had the 25 euro set menu and it was really good. The dishes were well presented and the service was excellent . We ate early and there was only one other party in the restaurant , by the time we left it was packed with mostly locals. I would recommend getting there before 8.

On a Sunday at lunchtime, when we found restaurants we'd liked in the fish-market area all closed, a couple of Brussels guys out on a walk whom I asked recommended this place. They were right as far as the terrace arrangement and the food were concerned. But while the chef knew what he was doing, the management clearly hadn't in... More

We came twice here during our stay in Brussels as it was recommended to us by a local friend. We had a set menu for EUR 25 both time and we liked all courses. We tried fish soup and mussels and both were good, although soup was a but unusual to our taste. We had half a lobster (size maybe... More

This restaurant is a well known seafood at the fish market in Brussels. I have been there several times before. They have two menus, reasonably priced for a 3 or 4 services menu. Food is good but very 'standard'. Supplements for some desserts are in my mind not justified for higher cost, 4 services menu. Wine list is 'OK', both... More
