You are welcomed as if you were family and served a welcome drink on the house. The menu is limited but with nice courses suitable for the time of year. Absolutely great.

I just can't say enough great things about this restaurant mainly because of the amazing hostess Nancy! After a long trip from the U.S., this was our first restaurant for dinner in Brussels. We were traveling with our 2 children (ages 9 & 12) and they were exhausted. We were the first to arrive and by the time we left,... More

Visited this restaurant for dinner in March after reading a review. We didn't book in advance but rang doorbell as instructed. We were greeted by Nancy and seated at a table near the window. There were a couple of groups of people enjoying the food and atmosphere. Nancy gave us menus adding we may also choose from lunch menu if... More

This small restaurant is in a quieter part of the European district. You're unlikely to stumble across it unless you work nearby. It is the kind of place you hear about from a friend who himself heard about it from another friend. Traditional Belgian-French cooking with local market ingredients, they do a bargain lunch for 18E, or 21E with dessert.... More

My wife and I had a reservation for lunch on April 7. The restaurant is somewhat off the beaten path, but well worth the effort to get there. Starting the meal with a nice, gratis glass of cava always is the sign of a good meal to come. The house white wine was very nice and easy to drink. We... More

I like restaurants that I feel 'at home' in. I love good, honest, slow cooked, real food. You know - the sort where it comes out and it's like Gordon Ramsey was in the kitchen cooking everything but was presented like your grandma was fattening you up for Christmas. I like it when I'm brought a drink upon arrival, and... More

I have been to this restaurant three times now as I come every business trip to Brussels. Its a lovely, informal place where you feel as if you're dining in someone's front room. Home cooked food. Glass of cava on arrival adds a great touch. Service is always personal. Recommend to book ahead though!

We went to this restaurant in november 2013. The quality of the food is good. It is not the superior gastronomic experience, but you get a honest meal with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is cosy and apparently there are many regular local customers which is always a good reference. The service was very friendely and even with a full house,... More

We were a group of friends for lunch and were greeted with a glass of champagne into a busy, informal but interesting small restaurant. Although there was a full service, we were well looked after and the restaurant has a really intimate feel and is outstanding value for the European Quarter in Brussels. There is a limited menu and the... More

From the champagne on arrival to the extra glass of red wine at the end we were made to feel very welcome. We both had steak, salad and French fries and it was one of the nicest meals we have had. Steak was cooked to perfection and the output from the small kitchen at the back of the restaurant is... More
