If I Lived in Brussels, I Would Eat Here Often!

This was one of my two favourite lunches in Brussels! We rang the doorbell at the entrance and it was answered by a military guard on his lunch. He said, Öh, I am just helping Nancy." We smiled and were then greeted by a very lovely and busy Nancy. She sat us and promptly delivered two glasses of... read more

Return visit after superb evening last year. We were not disappointed. Once again rang doorbell to be greeted by Nancy. Complimentary Glass of Cava whilst choosing from menu with a top up whilst deciding upon wine. We chose Soup of the day followed by Sole with vegetables and Tart Tatin with calvados and vanilla ice cream. Absolutely superb evening rounded... More

Everything is great. It is a small place so you should book in advance. The food is excellent, Nancy and her husband are really friendly and make you feel like home. Prices normal for the area. Recommended!

The food is excellent and the service is personnel and perfect. Nancy is a Flemish lady, very gentle, who speaks fluent Dutch, English and French. You get really quality for your money. And ... you receive one or more cavas for free. Defintely to be recommended.

The whole experience of eating at Le Correge starts from when you ring the doorbell (!) and enter the house, exactly as if you were going to a friend's house. Nancy greets you warmly, she even knew who I was, based on the reservation I made earlier that day, I assume. The service was outstanding and as mentioned, one-of-a-kind. If... More

I have only just been to Le Correge after many years leaving just around the corner. I can only confirm all the positive things previous commentators have said. It offers excellent food and very reasonable prices and the service is just perfect. Top marks alround.

This is a family-run restaurant with the husband in the kitchen and the wife in the restaurant, and the place feels very homely. The food is excellent and home cooked, and the lunch menu very good value at 16 Euros for one course and 19 for two course. The menu doesn't vary much over time, but there is also a... More

The waitress Nancy will greet you with a kiss and bring you a glass of bubbly (for free) as soon as you sit down. The menu is short but mouth-watering, with French/Belgian specialties. My personal favorite is the tartare de saumon, prepared with fresh coriander and served with crunchy vegetables. Sometimes you have to wait a little, but it is... More

At Correge slow food means "take the time to enjoy". Fine home-cooking-style food, decent prices, excellent attentive service, in typical Brussels atmosphere. Restaurant is owned and exclusively run by a sympathetic couple (which explains the limited opening hours in the evening). Highly recommended place!

The dim cosy light and quiet music create a warm atmosphere. The cuisine is the kind of home cooking that you might offer a guest with pride if you had prepared it yourself. It is wholesome and generous but unremarkable. The house wine is acceptable. Small touches, such as the welcome aperitif are agreeable. The hostess has the best intentions... More
