3 course lunch within the hour...and pretty good!

We use this place regularly for business lunch or dinner and it certainly fits our needs. If you pick the set menu for lunch, they will deliver it within 1 hour while the quality is amazingly good for the speed offered. If you go for dinner, especially if you get the private room downstairs, things... read more

Civilised modern place for lunch a stone's throw from the European Parliament. You'll be surrounded by MEPs and their staffers (at least when the EP hasn't done one of its wholesale moves to Strasbourg) and there's also likely to be the occasional diplomat from the many nearby embassies. Excellent set three-course menu on the January Friday we were there of... More

There are not so many restaurants round the European quarter of Brussels to which you can confidently take a client or business contact and know they will enjoy the food, that atmosphere though bustling will be comfortable, and that a 3-course set lunch costing 35 Euro will be served within an hour. This is one such place, so it's an... More

Dear Sir, First of all thank you for your compliments about our lunch. As for the comments you made in relation to our service, I want to tell you that we will keep accounts because even if we are fortunate enough to satisfy every day a large clientelle accustomed to, we strive to ensure the same service at all our... The Belgians (particularly those of the francophone persuasion) are unable to serve bad food - I have stated this before - and the Maison du Luxembourg is no exception from the rule. The interior in this duplex space could be called "industrial-style modern design" but is surprisingly pleasant and welcoming; there is sufficient space between tables (but you can still... More

The restaurant did very well catering for a business party of 10, with the fearless sommelier providing good advice on matching wine with the high-quality food. On a busy night with the restaurant full, the food still came pretty quickly and the staff were attentive without being obtrusive. Glad I wasn't picking up the tab though!

Nice ambiance and decently spaced tables. The appetizers and the main dishes even if they are typically Belgian are appealing and well prepared. The dish size is adequate. The service is not very professional: they managed to wrongly take our orders and the service was much to slow. Also the dessert choice was very poor. On the contrary the wine... More

We went there in a large business group - we had reserved, and were required to pick a "meat" or "fish" set 3 course meal at 45 euros each. Maybe this is not the best way to experience this restaurant - especially if I read some of the other reviews - but for me the food was really quite ordinary.... More

From the price and some reviews, we expected something special, but was a bit disappointed. They gave us complimentary starters, which was nice, but when my real starter came it was made in exactly the same yellow sauce as the complimentary starter. My main - fish and scallop - came in similarly creamy orange sauce. Maybe I was just unlucky... More

Today we went during lunchtime with a group to this restaurant. We were 17 so we had made a reservation in advance, and the restaurant required to know our choices from a set menu ( 3 possibilities for starter, for main course and for desert) also in advance. This was my experience: 1) The quality of the food was ok.... More

despite it being a very busy time of year a last minute reservation was taken and managed very well, despite a timing mistake no pressure was ever evident. The Lunch menu at 30 EUR was excellent food, though personally I dislike nouvelle cuisine I could not find fault with it and the bread which kept me going. The wine and... More
