We visited this place on out first day in Brussels. We just arrived in town and we were tiered and VERY hungry. The food did not disappoint. Extremely tasty and the portions were fantastic. Very coasy environment we stayed for ages enjoying a great selection of beers.

This was a very nice restaurant to eat at when you're in the neighborhood. It is not a destination. The steak was good, French fries excellent. Service was routine.

Visited this place once and overall it was notthing special. This restaurant gives you the feeling of a quick meal.Service is o.k. and the food also but nothing really special.Prices are not cheap, the menu shows you the price of a piece of meat and everything what goes with it you have to pay extra. At the end, the bill becomes pricy.Overall... I've been looking for some time to find a decent brasserie in Bxl and this is it. Friendly service, tasty food, great decor and very central. A bit on the expensive side - but knowing how few good brasseries there are in town - they are forgiven.

Went based on a recommendation from a friend and was just around the corner from the Novotel City Center I stayed at. Absolutely delicious, steak cooked to perfection. Also they serve a wonderful Mojito. Would recommend to anyone.

Warm welcome, friendly staff, good but not too long menu. Great starters shared with 4 of us, good choice and price of wines. Attentive but not intrusive service, owner present and quietly monitoring

Went here with a group of 7 on a Saturday without reservation at 9pm. Obviously very busy but they took the time to set us up a nice table inside. The service is really top noch and the food is excellent for a Brasserie. Definately will go again. All friends in our group were impressed after having tried several better... More

Not in the mood for searching a hip restaurant in a trendy neighborhood we decided to give Royal a try. The service was not to bad, for lunch good to handle, but surprisingly delicious food. We have chosen from the traditional Belgium section in the menu: beef tongue with mash potatoes and the stew with french fries. Both were fresh,... More

The ambiance and location of this restaurant are great, on a street corner in a trendy part of town. At night, it's cool, busy and enticingly louche. For me, the food did not quite live up to expectations: it was adequate but didn't scale the heights of which Brussels is often capable.
