Tuna fish was perfectly cooked.

Went there on a summer evening. The terrace was full but the service was still very good and the quality of the food was good. I can highly recommend the 'mi-cuit de thon', it was perfectly cooked.

I went to the Royal brasserie in a professional context with a relatively large group of colleagues of about 20 people. We were seated at one big table and some of us needed to take a small table on the side. It was a bit packed, but not really uncomfortable. Interior is quite hip, inox tabletops and wooden chairs. You... More

If you're coming on a Friday or Saturday MAKE A RESERVATION!! We did not. But the staff was able to find us a spot since we were there very early (7pm). They are lovely. Not very attentive, but lovely. Our order must have gotten lost because after several tables received their dinners (which resembled what we had ordered) we asked... More

There's a lot to like with the Royal - the atmosphere is hip, modern feeling, bustling with energy...and the food is really quite good, with all 3 of us very much enjoying our meals. Unfortunately, we did experience a somewhat bizarre breakdown in service. Our waitress had been excellent all night, but suddenly with the dessert it seemed that no... More

Very nice brasserie in the heart of Brussels. We ate meat and fries and everything proved to be definitely super. An advice to everyone: taste the meat plate in three different ways. Absolutely worth eating!

The Royal Brasserie looks quite upmarket from the street but the reality does not live up to this initial impression. The welcome was warm and we were offered a choice of tables - we chose to be at the rear of the restaurant, near the kitchen, which seems quieter. The chirpy waitress took our order and quickly my husband's drink... More

It's a really nice place conveniently located just by the metro of St. Catherine We came over with a big group of friends and got a nice comfortable table Out of 3 members of waiting staff, one woman was especially nice. She brought us wine on the house after someone spilled it, she got us a case for bday flowers...... More

we come here quite often and it's always a pleasure. The no nonsense approach of the staff and the good brasserie kitchen . Especially meat is what they are fallus for. If you and your friends want to have a good time....go and enjoy

For the medium-high end of the market Royal wants to be, some improvements could help its attractiveness. Sitting could be less cramped (bigger tables or more space between them). The menu could be shorter: the current sub-division between traditional Belgian fare and fusion or fresh fish gives too many options, and tends to make you feel cheap in case you... More

We came in at 7:25 and had to wait for 20 minutes before they waited on us (the restaurant was still empty, but there were quite some people eating on the terrace). For drinks, we ordered an orange juice, half a bottle of still water and half a bottle of red wine. The starter was very good (variety of 3... More
