Great sophisticated Japanese

It s nearly impossible to get in touch and book a table (no website, they hardly answer the phone) which is really annoying. But very much worth your patience. The menu is good value (60 euros for amuse-Bouche, starter, sashimi, fish dish with rice and miso soup). You can add a meat dish for an... read more

Delicious, extra fresh sushi, the lunch menu offers good sizes for a reasonable price a bit under 30 euros. Reservation is needed, as the place it's always full.

Such expectations that i might be slighty tough with this appraisal, but given the one star from michelin guide and the prices - expensive- , the experience failed to deliver that time. Dishes are well presented, but short of taste and uninspired. The duck was very - too - salty, and the lobster tempura greasy, spoiling the culinary experience. What... More

I've been to Kamo twice - the food was really excellent and service very good. Yesterday I was to visit their new location and... what a disappointment. They lost our booking (made a couple of weeks in advance). These things happen (even though probably they shouldn't in a Michelin restaurant) and I could even understand that if at least the... The food is excellent, products very fresh but the portions are really small. None of the reviews here mention you need to eat before... I went there with my boyfriend we have both chosen the Menu 2, 65€ + 15€ wine - 2 glasses of wine each (or better, 2 1/2 glasses each because the quantity is really small) I... More

we had dinner two times at the previous location, this one is better looking. the menu for lunch is a very good deal, the food was very good, we will be back. Also for a complete dinner so we can taste more things. For desserts: the crème brûlée is really great (but a bit too small :-))

Went there for lunch with colleagues and had high expectations. The food was definitely exceptional. We had a sushi and sashimi mix for a starter and then the Japanese steak for a main. We ordered two different bottles of wine from a very limited menu and were surprised for this quality of restaurant that the wine choice wasn't better. The... More

We have visited Kamo after lengthy attempts to get a table. The restaurant played hard to get, many times informing us that they are fully booked for weeks in advance. In spite of that, at the time of our dinner, Monday evening, there were plenty of seats left empty. Having in memories quite innovative cooking performed by Kamo team at previous... More

Wonderful Japanese food in a minimalistic setting. Limited menu card but superb quality and refinement. Every dish is a pleasure to the eye and to the taste buds. Basic but great sushi. Would want to check out the dinner card. Very talented and friendly chef. Just a pity the Belgian waitresses are totally uni-language and do not make any effort... More

Eating at Kamo will wake all your senses up! The ceramic plates are a joy for the eye, as is every dish's presentation and execution. The perfumes will take you on a journey through Japan, and as you dine, you have a permanent view on the kitchen where you can admire the staffs precision and care for detail. We had... More
