Very good cuisine, very tasty and quality products, but it was not even an aperitif for me...when I left I was starving...not to mention the price...which is half of a normal rent in Brussels... therefore, I would not recommend this place to people who like to eat tasty food at a good price. There is no good price there.

There is a lot of hype around Kamo because of its status of first Japanese restaurant to be awarded a Michelin star. Went there for dinner with friends and was not disappointed. The food was very good and the atmosphere very pleasant. Prices are not cheap and having travelled to Japan quite lengthily I would not call it as exceptional... More

Great service (Japanese staff) and cuisine (Japanese cook). A bit pricey but the 15 euros plat-du-jour is good for the value. Be sure to come at the opening of the doors since the plat-du-jour is limited in numbers (this to improve the quality). The kitchen is open, there's a counter and tables, yet it's rather small. Better book in advance.... More

I was here recently and back in 2009. Both times were great culinary experiences. Former chef from Tagawa (which is now closed) started this place and cooks here regularly. Really innovative menu, which really delves you the Japanese culinary tradition. Highly recommended, but come bearing a heavy wallet...

Good quality food but very basic Presentation not up to a good Asian restaurant Dining room too small and poor aspiration of cooking, we left the restaurant and for two days our clothes smell of cooked. Booked two weeks in advance for a lunch and when we arrived the dish of the day was finished at 1pm. Too expensive compared... More

If you're looking for something different in the world of raw fish, this is the place to visit. All dishes we tasted were very good and prepared in an onteresting way. Cooked salmon was also very tasty. Was it excellent? Almost, certainly very good and we'll come back. On top of that quality/price ratio is more than correct compared to... More

We had diner at the counter, allowing us to watch the skilled chefs prepare the most delicious Japanese food. All the food is prepared on the spot, so depending on when you arrive, you'll have to wait for a bit. We arrived at 19h (when the restaurant opens) and had our first courses quite quickly. When we ordered an additional... More

Went there twice already and really recommend it to everyone who wants to taste excellent Japanese cuisine. You have to make a reservation, as the restaurant is so busy and very small (I think they can only seat about 25 persons).
