Grilled quid with lemongrass - a perfect start ...

... to a pleasant Vietnamese restaurant. Don't be put-off by the pokey front room, the main dining room behind has ample space and in summer there are a few tables in the walled garden. I went there after reading a few reviews here. Of course not all can be super perfect and positive, but I didn't expect that. The restaurent itself looks really nice and the service at the counter was really friendly. We were told that the food was really spicy which was totally okay for us, since we are used to Asian... The food is not bad and reasonably priced, but for our visit anyway, the service was appalling. We waited 20 minutes for the menu, and 90 minutes between the starter and the main course. No apologies, on the contrary the waiters were surly and rude throughout (when we could get hold of them). We were seated by the door (our... More

Terrific and inexpensive Vietnamese food. Each dish had a distinctive taste and was quite delicious, the steamed rice cake appetizer was especially unique. The curries made with fresh ingredients were excellent. The servers were friendly and accommodating.

The pork triangles, the yellow chicken curry and the lemon grass beef were good. The service was fast and nice. The restaurant looks fresh and cheerful with pink and purple walls. The price are low for this district in Brussels. Along the other comments, I do not think that the food was purely Vietnamese or Thai, it is more of... More

What's with the whole dumbing down of Asian food these days? They all seem to be a mixture of Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese, none of it done particularly well. I think it's called jumping on the band wagon! The food was ok, nothing wrong with it at all, it's just not authentic Vietnamese...Simples!

I love vietnamese cooking, but this time I am very disappointed. Food was not good, sauce was liquid (?), even the rice was not fine. But above all, just after we arrived we were asked for our order, did not get any vietnamese chips like on some other tables and were served 3 minutes after ordering (??). We were both... More

The atmosphere is very nice, the service is very quick ( with no patience though), the starters were nice looking and tasty, the mains were delicious and huge, the desserts - well I would avoid them, they do not look nice (at all) and they taste avarage. The prices are low regarding the quantity!

This little restaurant has become a regular haunt for me during my stay in Brussels. Friendly and attentive service (it helps if you speak a little French, but the menu is also in English) The spice in the food is pretty mild by Australian standards so ask for extra spicy if you're that way inclined. Wide range of dishes, the... More

This is definitely my favourite asian resto in Brussels. In spite of the rather dull name, this resto serves excellent asian thai-style food. Interior feels very nice and fresh. Service is friendly and quick (usually). Try the "poulet grille au citronelle"...(but everything is good).
