Wow

Amazing food, great beer, wonderful service. A short wait at the bar, but it gave us time to study the menu and sip some nice beers. Lots of tourists, but authentic belgian food. Simply delicious. And generous portions.

We visited for a late lunch on a Sunday, and the menu appeared to be the same as the dinner menu. The main dish portions were enormous and our appetites didn't stretch quite that far. We ordered the soup of the day for all of us, and they have a list of basic tapas (ardennes sausage, cheeses, olives, anchovies etc)... More

My friend and I were impressed with the flavourful dishes and selection of beer. English was no problem. Very convenient location. Interesting toilets as well. Will definitely come again.

Small, casual, and very good selection of traditional Belgian dishes, not to mention the huge selection of beers. Be warned that it's very small and very popular. If you can't get in, two nearby restaurants are Madame Chapeau and Ce Bon, Ce Belge.

Lovely little place with a really accommodating staff. If they know they will be full for a while they will let you know and you can sit at the little bar and get a beer while you wait. The food was fantastic- we had the veal meatballs with beer sauce and the saddle of rabbit. Both very different, both very... More

I have not eaten here yet but they have an outstanding beer list. They have Dupont Redor Pils on tap, one of the few places in Belgium to do so. Lots of other interesting & rare choices. If you want a good variety of beers, this is a good choice

I visited this place because I heard about their carbonade flamande (Flemish beef stew) and it did not disappoint. The meat was very, very tender. The place is very small and always full. You can sit outside on a small terrace as you wait for a spot. It's a classic, cozy, warm little building, but the styling and atmosphere is... More

I had the Carbonnades a la Rochefort - beef stew and I had potato and broccoli purée. My companion had Waterzooi de Joues De Cabillaud - sweet cod stew great with rice. Also enjoyed local Cantillon Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio beer. Very pleasant evening

This is a hip, friendly, small restaurant not too close to but not too far away from the Grote Markt (central square). We looked around and realized that almost all of the people eating in the restaurant were local people rather than tourists or the normal crowd of business men who populate the restaurants on weeknights in Brussels. A good... More
