This little restaurant serves simple Belgian food very well made. It's also very friendly and welcoming. The staff were very helpful and were obviously passionate about what they were doing. Because of its small size it gets busy quickly do expect to wait at the bar for a while unless you get there early but it is worth it. The... More

You don't go for the ambiance, you go for the food. I had the pork fillets and my husband had the rabbit. To die for! Our waiter was very helpful with our lambic choice and a pleasure to chat with. One of the best meals we've had in Brussels. Go before 7:30 as they get quite full.

Real Belgian food served in a tiny and cozy place A colleague introduced me to this restaurant as authentic Belgian food, same dishes you prepare at home. Tiny place, nice attention (english/french/dutch/italian spoken). Prices between 15-19€. Tried Shepherd's pie, and the veal meatballs. Some dishes are cooked with beer. And there's a large selection of beers available. Worth to visit.

We popped in here for lunch - the beef stew was tasty and the meat tender, unfortunatley the rabbit dish was very dry. The frites however were fantastic! The beer was good but I'm not sure we'd return given the huge choice around.

Good honest food and good value for money considering this is Brussels we are talking about. However, I did not find this restaurant welcoming at all. We walked in knowing very well that we would have to wait cause the restaurant was full. We waited at the bar for 20 minutes (perfectly ok). Both waiters walked past many many times... More

Its a tiny lille restaurant, and it doesn't take bookings. Great choice of beers and a nice house wine -- its Flemish food, we ordered an appetiser of cheese and olives that would have been enough for 6. I had the rabbit stew and my wife had the beef.Really genuine and good food but be there early [ say 6]... More

Wonderful food, great service, marvelous environment, and great location. I was impressed that this small but pleasant place could put out such good food and beer with such ease. Everyone in my party had a terrific meal and we talked about it quite a bit afterward. This will go on my Must Visit list for future trips to Brussels.

Excellent food in a warm atmosphere. We three had the fish soup with mussels and saffron, followed by the carbonnades. Though the carbonnades (and stoemp and fries) were delicious, the fish soup was just exquisite. The three entrees and mains, plus a beer and a 1l bottle of water came to 79 euros. The waiter was very attentive and friendly.... More
