We paid cca 30€ for good portion of great food. It was delicious, service was good and guick, the atmosphere was nice - small tables on the sidewalk of the street, and local people ate there as well, so in my experience it is always an indicator of a great restaurant!

Five minutes walk from Grand Place and about as different from tourist restos there as you can get. The bar/resto is small - max 40 covers, say - and (I don't think) they take reservations. Their waiting area - you can have a beer while you wait - is 2 tables/8 chairs on the pavement outside. Even when empty, I... More

The nice window frame attracted me at first. Nice decor but mixed with different styles, could be better. The waiter was very friendly to locals and to tourists as well. There are so many choices of Belgian specialty beers which you cannot find easily in a supermarket. Very reasonable price for drinks and food. Food was very simple but decent.... More

Hubby found this on Trip Advisor and we thought we'd give it a shot. He had the beef stew and fries, I had the vegetable curry. It was all wonderful and I think those were the best French fries I've ever eaten! (Of course I pick a few off his plate)... For desert we had chosen the "chocolate pot" but... More

This is a small welcoming restaurant with a great Belgian menu. The service was friendly and helpful and just about right. I had several beers to match my courses and the potions are large. Do yourself a favour and stay away from the tourist ones and try this where there is a good mix of locals and foreigners but everyone... More

Went there for lunch right around opening time on a Sunday. The place was empty with the exception of a couple at another table. When the waiter finally came to us and asked what we wanted, my wife asked how big the portions were (it was a busy day for us and we didn't want to fill up too much... More

This small and cosy restaurant in the centre of Brussels offers a good hint of typical Belgian cuisine. Choose from a limited list of specialities, all served with salad and a side order. The menu is subject to seasonal availability, and we’d suggest to come early as it gets full quite soon.
