Visited recently when exploring the christmas market. Brilliant experience, food was fantastic and portion sizes were very generous. Beer selection was vast, and the staff knowledgeable and able to recommend different types. Would recommend visiting, but plan times carefully as it is quite a small restaurant.

Wonderful food, lots of beer options, wonderful service. The waitress (or owner) with short blond hair was very friendly. The restaurant is small (7-8 tables) and no reservations. So you may not find an empty table. But there is a small bar, maybe you can wait there for an empty table. I read negative comments about the service below, which... More

we were in Brussels during Christmas market time and it was very busy but we timed our visit to this restaurant perfectly, just after the lunch rush and just before the evening rush. The service was immaculate and the food delicious. Between us we had the ham in mustard, beef in ale, chicken in Kriek and an excellent rare steak.... More

We came here for lunch while passing through Brussels one day, and were not disappointed. The beer selection included cult favorites like Cantillon and some newer, more adventurous Belgian breweries, too. The waiter was very knowledgeable and clearly shared our enthusiasm for beer, helping us find some from new-to-us breweries that we really enjoyed. The food was pretty classic Belgian,... More

This hidden gem has the best ham with honey mustard dish we've ever had ever. We live in the Netherlands but want to go back just for the ham. The shrimp appetizer was a bit over cooked, however. All in all, it's a great place to eat near the center of the city.

Very nice and relaxing place to go. Absolutely to visit if you are in Bruxelles. So many beers available that the choice is extremely difficult. The place is small but the atmosphere is wonderful. We had to wait for twenty minutes: inside with a first glass of beer., but many people outside drinking beer. When seated, the food was really... More

The restaurant per se is not bad: good-quality Belgian food, great choice of beers in a traditional atmosphere. The only problem is the service, which is awful. You arive and you have to wait a long time before a waiter welcomes you and gives you a table. This could be acceptable if the restaurant was full, but it happens also... More

The place is small and seems hidden. We had to wait a while, but the people from the restaurant were pleasant and we drank some delicious beers while waiting. Finally we sat down and it was well worth the wait. The menu has limited choices, but the food was excellent! Rich, homemade Belgian dishes. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

Was attracted to this restaurant from the reviews on trip advisor and it paid off. A small place so you might want to go early. The menu has comfort type food: beef stews, rabbit, shepherds pie, etc. We had the beef stew cooked In a beer sauce. It was very good; tender and tasty. One thing to note is that... More

This smallish restaurant in the touristy center of Brussels offers excellent Belgian beers and excellent local cuisine as well. Arrived later in the evening on a Friday--about 9 pm and got seated within about 15 minutes. (This despite the hipster waiter's insistence that it would be 30 minutes before we got a table.) Service could not be described as "attentive"... More
