Pleasant service, good food, great beer

Highly recommended restaurant - went here for a Saturday afternoon lunch. Good selection of beers with recommendations from helpful waiting staff. Very good food. Close to all the major sights in Brussels.

The place was virtually empty when we arrived. The arrogant waiter (who did not multitask well at all) was just plain rude. It took 25 minutes to get 2 beers. We had planned to eat lunch there but the waiter had such an attitude we moved on to another place. The beer was excellent. Sad as I had read about... More

Dropped in for a bite to eat and was very impressed by both the food and beer menus. Great local cuisine matches perfectly with their selection of wares from local breweries. Very entertaining staff who are both welcoming and knowledgable on all aspects of their trade. Will be keeping this place for my next trip to Brussels.

Eating out in Brussels where one person is a vegetarian and the other a carnivore can be quite a challenge. This restaurant managed to resolve both issues. There was only one vegetarian choice, but it was a tasty curry with rice. My partner had the boeuf carbonade with the best frites we ate in Brussels this trip. The portions are... More

Nice beer focused restaurant in the downtown area. Only four beers on tap but a large selection of bottled beers; almost all Belgian. Food is local comfort food and many of the dishes feature a beer-based sauce. Reasonably priced.

Even when the place is full the staff is worried to serve you well. and the food dispenses any comment, perfect in every sense.

We had lunch here with our three kids, the black sausage, the veal stew and the potato mash with sausage. With it we had two beers, one bubbly and one sweet and fruity. The food is ok, honest simple food, a bit on the pricey side for what it was, but nothing to complain about. The interior is nicely decorated... More

After visiting Le Mannekin Pis and opting not to sit down and eat a proper meal instead of indulging in stupenwaffles, we stumbled upon Nuet Nigenough (the Greedy Glutton). It is unremarkable from the outside, but once you walk in you notice the carved wood paneling and the beautiful, if understated ceiling. I needed to wash my hands, and the... More
