I went to this bar on the Sandmans beer tasting tour (highly recommend! 17 euros, 4 beers, 3 bars, great fun! Meets at Scott's bar, 5.30pm) and it was great! They have a great selection of Belgian beer and the environment is lively, comfortable, and fun.

Just a beer cafe, no food, and don't go if you don't like beer, but they have a great choice. And a selection of comic books you can look at.

I went here as part of a beer tour, but the beer was so good I ended up staying for a few more. The beer menu was organized well by flavor profile and strength to help you choose from the large selection. The bartenders were friendly. Can't comment on the food because I didn't have any, but they had a... More

Got a cab to this place, was about 5km from where we were staying. Arrived just after 2pm, got to the door and saw it doesn't open until 4pm. Bugger! The chaps inside came out and said we look thirsty. If we'd like to go in they're sure they could find something for us to drink! He asked what style... More

We visited on a Friday evening when the bar was packed but we managed to grab two seats at the bar. There was a great atmosphere and the staff were helpful in choosing what to drink. The bar is slightly off the beaten track which was a nice change. Prices seemed pretty average for Brussels. Would like to visit again.

One of the best places in Brussels. List of beer is good and the staff really seems to know what they are talking about. And they tend to like talking about it a bit more than I'm used to. We visited both, the original location at Sint Gillis and the newer location in Fontainasplein, and I would recommend the original... More

Went for a sunny afternoon beer and shared the mixed meat and cheese plate. The Troubadour Magma beer was fantastic, service was good, the bread, meat and cheese were perfect. Couldn't as for more!

with its cosy interior and huge selection of rare beers Moeder Lambic is a place to stay. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about the many beers they offer. food is limited to mostly cheese, sausages and bread - the perfect base for yet another beer. the surroundings of st. gilles are very pleasant, too.

This place has a special beer tasting event you can arrange for groups. Second time I have been. 7-8 beers, dried meats, sausages, and cheeses, almost all Belgian treats. Also get the story on all of the beers you drink. An excellent way to spend an evening. Everything was outstanding. Thee event is in the cellar which you wouldn't know... More

Great beer cafe: special beers, no commercial drinks or beers (where do you see that anymore?), grains and nice platter.
