Great Atmosphere very different!

Like entering a cave! Triple levels add to intrigue & experience. A little different from the myriad of eateries in nearby lane ways, much quiter and better food and service . Beefsteak and Lamb chops with Fries, delicious!

The furniture is really charming and we had high hopes for this place and its offer "9.50 euro for steak and fries". The result was quite different from our expectations. The steaks we ordered were overcooked, dry and chewy, pretty much the same results I had when as a young teenager I first started grilling meat. Fries were ok but... More

My boyfriend and I went here before seeing a comedian at the royal circus. It's easy to get to from the central station and you get to see the grand place on your way. We went here especially for the meat and were not disappointed. The waitress gave us a warm welcome and seated us near the window. The inside... More

We found Le Raphael on tripadvisor. It's a very small restaurant with just a few tables spread out over several floors. Quite an interesting setup. Sadly we were placed in a little corner which had very bad chairs. The other chairs and benches in the restaurant looked comfortable, so we were just a bit unlucky I guess. The service by... More

The filet was fabulous, perfectly prepared and the fries are delicious. The cheese croquettes are also tasty. My only complaint was the only wine you could get by the glass was the house wine. For the price the house red was adequate, I just wished for more options.

Stumbled across this gem whilst walking through Brussels on a weekend away. Such a surprise when walking inside as this is a most unusual design. The service was excellent and the food was unbelievably tasty. Quite good value and very friendly I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Very well priced restaurant in such a central area. The lunch deal for 9.90euros was pretty good with its medium doneness rump steak with sides of salad and fries. Do try it if you are in Brussels!

Booked this on line and were greeted very warmly at the entrance and shown to our table. The inside is spread over a number of floors which in itself made it a unique experience! The food was spot on and excellent value for money. Our party had a mix of chicken which was succulent, salmon and steak all served with... More

We had a really great dinner at Raphael's. The spareribs and fries were great. At the end we ordered a "Bruxelles Special-drink" and the very nice waitress Sonja made as an Amaretto-cocktail, which we loved. The location is very interesting too. Thanks for having us. N&S
