I went to Raphael with my partner for an evening meal, we chose this restaurant as it looked traditional from the outside. Upon walking in we were surprised that it kept its traditional look, it had excellent and interesting decor and candles lit everywhere. The food is on a parallel to the above. I had calamari for a starter which... More

What a cool little place, great food and very quirky. We had to wait a bit to be seated (after the lunchtime rush) but it was worth the wait.

this was a surprisingly good option right in the heart of the tourist centre. I was visiting Brussels on a day trip on a Sunday, and worried about only finding very touristy places open on a Sunday. I saw this place had good reviews and was willing to try. Most people were really into their meat, seems what this restaurant... More

Just off the Grand Place, you can fine this small and cozy place. Food is simple - no fluffy and pretentious stuff - just nice dishes (steaks, chicken, seafood, salads). Service is fast and helpful. I had a seafood plate and it was nice. Prices are ok, considering that you're in the city center.

This small, quiet restaurant belies its central location near the Grande Place. It offers simple food, well cooked with a good range of local beers. I went there three times during a business trip was enjoyed it every time. Delightful staff and very reasonable prices.

During 2 years, it was one of the best restaurants to visit in Brussels. I really liked it, but after last visiting, I decided I’ll never go there again. The waitstaff was very rude and impolite. I was very disappointed with their attitude to their clients.

I had ordered the rumsteak, which was amazing! It was cooked to perfection, and the grilled taste was exquisite, the pepper sauce and fries were also lovely. I would definitely visit again next time I'm in Brussels.

Despite many positive Tripadvisor reviews, Raphael Restaurant was a let down; location is the only positive. Starter arrived quickly; however, it was way too salty and inedible. My wife an I ordered salads for our main. They looked great, but looks can be deceiving. After one bite my wife and I discovered sand on the salad greens, implying the greens... More
