I often travel to Brussels on business and like to stay near the Grand Place. Giannino is right there. It's a great first night dinner, since it's a short walk from the hotel. The food is "comfort food" -- not too expensive, not too elegant, tasty, and a good start to a busy week. The proprietors treat us well and... More

We went to this restaurant whilst staying in Brussels. It was only two mins from our hotel and had excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. I would definitely reccomend a visit here, the food was delicious, we both had pizza and couldnt fault either at all. The staff are very polite and friendly (which isnt the case for everywhere in Brussels!).... More

I had dinner in this small brasserie with business colleagues on a recent weekday evening in December. We walked in without reservations and had no problem getting a table immediately; that might not be the case during tourist season. I eat at this restaurant fairly often when in Brussels and reviewed Giannino a couple of years ago; I’ve always regarded... More

We started with some olives that have been already served to somebody else : we found in our plate half eaten olives.. I talked to the manager and she just gave us another cup of olives. Our food was served in dirty plates, used by the previous customer... Asked to change them and the staff was even annoyed! On the... More

Has a pizza lunch here on a Sunday before the Belgium v Wales game. We were made very welcome, the service was fast and efficient and the pizza was freshly made. Free drinks after the meal was a bonus...Thank you.

I tried Giannino's restaurant when visiting Brussels as part of a business trip. It always makes a change to go out and not use your hotel restaurant several days in a row. My experience of Brussels town centre restaurants is variable; some close by to where I ate employ quite aggressive tactics and free drinks to get you inside and... More

Food was okay and price level too, but it took forever to get served. Okay, but not impressive. In the tourist trap area, and the service was matching that.

We decided to dine early on a public holiday in Brussels - we sat down about 5.20pm and the restaurant was less than 30% full. It took 25 mins to take a drink order and another 10 to order pizza. The staff lacked any warmth or motivation and at best, seemed disinterested. While the tourist restaurant scene in Brussels is... More

I can't say it was a bad experience but it was all a bit bland. From the setting over the service to the food. There are too many restaurants to waste time in the grey zone...
