Great steak

Cosy restaurant with good service in English, French and Dutch. Loved the caipirinha cocktail and the Irish entrecôte.

I have been coming to Publico for two years now. It is located on the Rue des Chartreux close to the vibrant St Gery neighborhood. Often i go alone when I travel to Brussels. It has a perfect bar area for solo eaters (and drinkers). The menu is international with many mediterranean dishes (I recommend the Ravioli Publico), but it... More

The manager at our hotel recommended this restaurant. Location, food and service were all excellent. Really great meal. Lamb was superb. Prices very fair...2 entrees, 2 beer for 39 Euro. Brussels is an expensive city - dinner here was a deal!

Allthough the company I was in was really great this must be one of the most compromising restaurants I've been to recently. The menu promisses 'fresh' raviolis, 'dry aged' beef and creme brulees, but all we got was supermarket fare. My advice to this chef and manager: try fresh as in self made and you'll notice that it will mirror... More

We spent 2 nights in Brussels and ate dinner here both nights. It started with Francois telling us we could have a seat as long as we were finished by 9pm as all the tables were reserved. We started with the gorgonzola crosstini which was outstanding, toasted in the wood burning oven. I had Flemish stew which was very good... More

I was recommended Publico as a good all-round international food option by a friend of my sister so decided to avoid the main square and walk the 10 mins into what seemed like the hipster/alternative part of Brussels. Went with my sister and we ordered the gorgonzola crosstini and meatballs for starters off the tapas menu. The crosstini was basically... More

The title and the rating say everything. This was an average experience. The food was not bad, but it was average. The service was good and friendly, no doubt, but they forgot a couple of things, so despite the friendliness, that was also average. May be we did not choose the right courses on the meny, but I see no... More

Since a couple of years Publico is my favorite place in Brussels for a quick lunch or sometimes dinner. Various plates on the menu. For a day lunch you can choose between at least 20 different plates. The portions are really sufficient for good eaters and the prices are OK. The staff is very friendly. I would recommend everybody visiting... More

Great portions for moderate prices. Like their sister restaurant Spago they serve gluten free pasta. Cosey little restaurant with nice atmosphere and good service. Not my best dining experience but very good for what you pay. OVERALL I can only recommend

Friday evening, a bit late for Brussels habits, looking for a place to have dinner with a friend.. It looked nice from outside, probably no chance to get a table but we tried. It was indeed very busy, but we were warmly greeted and seated at the bar with a promise to get a table within 20 minutes. We get... More
