Cosy and delightful secret

Though siituated in the hearth of the city, the grand place, this little restaurant is a pleasant Italian surprise. Great (fresh) pasta, Cosy upstairs dinning room. Ideal for business lunch or romantic dinner. downstairs, the big table can host a larger group. Recommended

I visited the restaurant after a recommendation from a friend. Why he ever recommended it to me or how other reviews can be so positive is a mystery to me. The restaurant is well located at a bow shot away from the Grand Place. The restaurant looks very nice upon entering, with old tiles, shelves with cook books and a... More

We stumbled on this restaurant by accident on our last night in Brussels. I was determined to avoid the tourist trap type places the line most of the main streets in the centre of Brussels, and we walked for around an hour looking for something to catch our eye, ironically finding this little italian place down a small side street!... A little, hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant, with upstairs dining room, just off the Grand Place, run by three brothers. For a change-of-pace from Belgium cuisine, food was out of this world. Bistro-like atmosphere, with friendly atmosphere. The second time we had dinner there, we part of jovial conversation with a Canadian Air pilot and an Italian couple, seated at other tables.... This restaurant is easily reached from the Grand Place, but the service was very slow and the meal average.

My family and I were in Brussels for 4 nights and we found the food here so outstanding, we had dinner here twice. The restaurant is on a side street off of GRAND PLACE. We were the only tourists here our 1st visit. Everyone else was a local (very good sign for a restaurant). It is a 2 floor Italian... More

So the reviews were strong on the food and poor on the service, so we tried it OMG. It is fantastic authentic Italian right down to the looks between brothers The food was just amazing. I've eaten at some great Italian places in Rome and Naples, this place would make its mark Service was typical Brussels, take you time don't... More

Didnt expect a lot of this place, as it´s just too central located to be good. Lucky me I was wrong ;) The food was decent for the price we paid, the waiter was very friendly. It missed some ambiance, but still overal I can recommend it if you are in central brussels and want a quick bite.

Great Italian food. Try and sit upstairs. The restaurant is family operated and staff is very friendly and attentive. The waiter upstairs doesn't speak much English, so initially you may not think that he is friendly. But he is extremely friendly and tried to make our meals enjoyable We ate three dinners here. The pastas are great and we liked... More

The food was fine, but everything else was dreary, old, tired and the food did take a bit to be served.
