"De Noordzee" is something unique, it's like a hamburger stand, but with fresh fish. You can stand outside, on the street, and order something to eat. We had a nice glass of cava, a tuna burger and oysters. It was pretty good for a good price. But the main reason I was here, the experience, was enough to visit the... More

We greatly enjoyed our fish soup, shrimp croquettes, and scampi. However, our experience was made even better by the kindness of the manager, Veronique and the rest of the staff, who were greatly concerned with making us comfortable. In addition to the above, it is a fun place in a fun location worth visiting. Jon Taylor

Very nice and fresh fish and sea food place. You order your food and drink before (the drinks are served with the order) but you need to wait for the fish/sea-food and that could take some time and the organisation is not the best. just relax and enjoy the wine while the food is getting ready .

Visited while exploring Brussels and Christmas markets. Very busy and lively which is unsurprising given the quality of the seafood!

Street food better than mant fish-restaurants...This place has a character...fresh seafood, quick service, but it's not Mcdonalds style...moules frites are to die for with a special sauce...so are the calamari and crevette croquette...they wrote the daily menu on the board, very fresh daily catch...you order your meal and wait till they call for your name when it's ready....you will be... You queue up, buy your food and perhaps some good chilled white wine, then eat standing around small tables in the square. Sounds awful? You just have to try the fish - it is the freshest, tastiest fish you could get anywhere. Lots of garlic and spicy seasoning - you won't be disappointed unless it is blowing a gale and... More

The food was awesome, delicious and fresh seafood. The service was good but there was such a crazy number of people trying to order all at the same time that I got overwhelmed.

At Nordzee - Mer du Nord in Brussels you can have street food with the quality of a restaurant! It is located in the centre of the city and we were attracted by the quantity of people queuing (first) and by the great smell (after). You order your plate and then wait and eat it at the starting tables nearby.... More
