Great reataurant

Ate ther a dinner in the month of february. The Restaurant is well located, just in the corner of Place Rouppe. The waiters are very welcoming and the food is great. I ordered a burger which was delicious and took as well a very nice belgian beer. The prices are OK, could be a bit cheeper.

Try a huge glass of their home made lemonade while enjoying a delicious burger (which is so big that you don't have to be ashamed to use a fork and a knife) ;)

The place is very quaint and nice, however the food is really nothing special. The burgers are just ok, the service is polite, the value for money is average. It's ok for a night out, but don't expect anything special: 7/10.

Good place for eating Gourmet burgers! Fresh ingredients: the beef meat is good and the salads are fresh.

So this is a cute restaurant with depictions of Belgium's history in cartoon form (obviously) adorning the walls. The whole feel of this place is quite young. The service is good and with a smile. Food is good. Coffee is amazing.

After all the great reviews on trip advisor I was excited to try this place. Unfortunately I was a little let down, the frites just seemed like store bought oven fries and the beef in my burger was a bit over cooked and therefore dry and chewy. What I did enjoy was their home made lemonade! It was very refreshing... More

We brought some family visiting from abroad to try some good mussels and fries. Our reservation with special request had been respected, and we were seated in a nice corner upstairs. Service was friendly and very prompt, we hardly waited 10 minutes before we received our food. The hummus that was served with the drinks was not very good; we... More

Belgian pommes frites are legendery for their taste, crispness, and freshness. I would have liked to have spent the entire 30 hours in Brussels comparing one pommes frites to another, though not sure if my arteries would have been so happy. Lucky had it, that I found Houtsiplou. Let's further get on about the potato fries here. A culinary work... More

This restaurant was recommended to be by a local, and I went back for the second time this week. It's small and quirky, with lovely, friendly service and interesting art works on the walls. Its burgers are outstanding - I had the Houtsiplou, which was delicious. Not necessarily the place for a romantic dinner for two, but great value and... More
