Good for a sandwich

The location on my downloaded trip advisor map was wrong. Good little cafe with a nice sandwich menu. I had a salami and Edam sandwich for approx 5 euros and it was quick to arrive. Friendly staff and close to good sights. There are lots of restaurants in the area but this is as good as any and not... read more

Maybe it is due to the fact that we are Sunday but the waitress should wake up... At least! And it is not raining... The bread is good.

This place is right on Anspach, almost directly across from the Bourse. You'd think it would be full of tourists but there are lots of older locals that go here too. They have cheap take-out sandwiches but if you sit down they have a nice menu with decent prices. We usually just go for a soup and/or a coffee though.... More

Should you come to Brussels be sure to check out Au Suisse (know to locals as Chez Tony). It is a sandwich shop that has been around until the thirties and is a local landmark. Best to try the "fillet american" which is a spicy tartar steak.

The sandwiches are oké but not that special. You have to be patient, specially during lunch time you have to wait a long time. The servers are always in a bad mood so don't expect a smile ;-)

Just 5-10 minutes walk from the Grand Place. Nice sandwich with nice price. I had a crab sandwich and it's delicious. Please note that there's no English menu (only French menu). Bring a dictionary with you if necessary...

It is custom for Belgians to eat sandwiches for lunch and the choice of toppings and breads is therefore large. The location of this place is right in the center next to the la place de la monnaie, where you can seat at the terrace and order your sandwich. The bread comes from The famous baker ' Vatel' known to... More
