The place is beautiful, warm, elegant and cozy, the reception very friendly, tables well dressed and not to close to each other. Food is great with a special mention for one of the starters, ventrêche de porc basque and tartare de thon, exceptional festival of textures and flavors. The classic cuisine main courses we had ( Joue de veau and... More

Here's where you can experience solid traditional Belgian fare. The venue is like a time capsule back to the 1920s, with similar food. Chef makes his rounds visiting diners. The food is good and unpretentious, but does miss the 5 star rating...

the place is really nice, it could easily be a parisian restaurant, even nicer than a parisian restaurant. Unfortunately the food is not that great, especially considering the price (impossible to spend less than 50 euro per person)

A nice old interior in a charming area (if you walk in the right direction), but the meal was just OK. Very disappointing given all the press (great reviews on TripAdvisor, a write-up in the NY Times, etc).

Two colleagues and I visited last Monday evening without reservations. The restaurant was fully booked, but they still managed to fit us in. During preparing the table a nice beer was offered at the bar. Venue is very nice (old style), waiters well-dressed, knowledgable, kind, and know how to treat you well. Wine list is very good, with wide selection... More

Whilst in Brussels recently we gave this restaurant a go. We were aware that the chef was an owner operator and usually this is a plus. Not so for us on this visit. The chef continuously moved around the tables serving and chatting to customers but his time could have been better spent supervising his staff in the kitchen who... More

Had a business meeting here with a Belgian who knows that he's talking about... he recommended this restaurant, and it was very good. Art deco-type interior: loved it! Professional waiters, excellent food (I had the entrecote and creme brulee). I'll certainly come back!

Found this small restaurant on Tripadvisor and desided to give it a shot. From the outside it wasn't very promising but we were fast proven wrong. The service right from the start was excellent - a mix of extreme customer care with a theatric "French arrogancy". Loved the staff - expecially the chef who was walking around talking with customers... More

Upon a recommendation of a friend, we were lucky to have asked the hotel to book us a table, as the restaurant was very busy, and that on a Monday night!!!!! The interior design is traditional Art Déco and very cozy. Upon the Chef's suggestion we ordered the Roast beef, following a traditional starter of Croquettes de Crevettes Grises. The... More

This was our second visit to this restaurant and it has become our favorite every time we visit Brussels. My wife had scallops which were perfectly prepared, I had 'Kabeljauw', a typical North Sea fish, prepared with a delicious Belgian beer based sauce. The professional and helpful waiter suggested us a delicious Sicilian Etna wine 'Terre di Trente', 2007, which... More
