Good eating in a cramped space.

This place looked good as we walked past so we went in . Good service and the food was well cooked with substantial portions but it quickly filled up and we were packed together at times finding it difficult to keep our places without pushing people on adjacent table. Not the place to go for a romantic dinner but very good to go with friends and have good Belgian food (and big portions!!!) with a beer, for a decent price in a very animated and cheerfull atmosphere. They even have some very nice vegetarian option, although my friend and I went for the rabbit and ham.

After reading all the great reviews my wife and I decided to go to this Restaraunt. It is very quirky inside with different size four seater tables packed closely together. We were lucky it wasn't busy as we would have been elbow to elbow with other customers. We walked in and were sat down then left alone for a long... More

Firstly we had to wait around 40 minutes to get seated due to the limited covers and the popularity (numerous occasions there was a que from the bar to the door) but good selection of drinks from the bar and if your lucky you may get to sit at an upstairs in an area that over looks the restaurant. There... More

If you want to experience Brussels like the trendier local crowd, that is as far from a cliched tourist trap as possible, then I'd highly recommend 9 et Voisins. This was recommended to us by our walking tour guide and it was worth every cent! It wasn't the cheapest option so if you're travelling on a budget then Fritland around... More

I went here alone, it had a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere- didn't get any strange looks for asking for a table for one! The staff were very friendly, and the food was superb (I had the carbonnade, but judging from the clean plates all around me pretty much everything on the menu was good). The beer was also good, and... More

Bar tender at hotel recommended & it is a very nice place with a "local" flair. It is reasonably priced - CASH ONLY. I got the pork in beer gravy and it was top notch. Good selection of Belgian beers too.

This was one of the better restaurants during our trip to Belgium, and its popularity is a tip-off to the quality of food and beer which it serves up. There is also an excellent selection of Belgian beers.

Had one of the best meals of my life here. No exaggeration. The atmosphere is wonderful - casual dress, really cool décor, and the food is of outstanding quality. The wait staff all speak French, Dutch and English and are really helpful. Honestly, don't miss this.
