Bar tender at hotel recommended & it is a very nice place with a "local" flair. It is reasonably priced - CASH ONLY. I got the pork in beer gravy and it was top notch. Good selection of Belgian beers too.

This was one of the better restaurants during our trip to Belgium, and its popularity is a tip-off to the quality of food and beer which it serves up. There is also an excellent selection of Belgian beers.

Had one of the best meals of my life here. No exaggeration. The atmosphere is wonderful - casual dress, really cool décor, and the food is of outstanding quality. The wait staff all speak French, Dutch and English and are really helpful. Honestly, don't miss this.

A nice restaurant with very reasonable prices and a fantastic atmosphere. The waiters friendly and very helpful with explanations about the menu. The food was tasty and the portions quite satisfactory.

We really wished to go to Fin de siècle but it was closed so had read up that this was the place to go if couldn't get in. Great food, good beer and atmosphere was great.

We had the carbonnades and the rabbit, both were lovely and good quality. They also served steak which looked really nice. The ribs were ok, nothing special. The prices are good especially for the quality, with most main dishes costing between 12-20 euro. The staff were friendly and the place had a casual pub like atmosphere. The only negative thing... We were planning to go to "Fin de Siècle" but as it was closed we decided to have dinner at "9 et Voisins" which is located across the street. The place was packed but we tried our luck and were so happy we did. We were seated right away in between other customers which we didn't mind. The ambiance was... More

We read about this on tripadvisor so thought we would give it a go. It was very nice. however the school like benches and tables felt quite close together, but the food was lovely. I had pork shoulder it was HUGE but very tasty. My boyfriend has the spare ribs, which again he had around 25 to get through! Definitely... More

Nice Belgian style bistro / brasserie. Open for lunch in the weekend where many places are closed. Wide choice of uncomplicated, tasty dishes, from soups/salads, to chicken/lamb/rabbit and traditional dishes. Very friendly service. Reasonable prices, but do note - credit cards are not accepted. PS: Do walk around the corner into Kartuizerstraat to see Zinneke Pis: the canine-version of the... More
