Fantastic atmosphere and food

Although my fiancee and I were only in Brussels for a few days, we ended up stopping by this wonderful little restaurant for two dinners and one lunch due to the excellent food and service. As other reviewers noted, the menu is only in French; however, that is the case in most restaurants worth visiting. The staff was incredibly helpful... More

Let me start by saying that this restaurant is not very English-friendly. The menu is only in French, written on a blackboard, and the staff speak very limited English (but enough to understand what you want). Once you figure out what you want (whether by reading the menu or looking at others plates!), things get considerable better. The food is... More

Cool venue, seemed full of hipster type locals and was very busy. Rocked up around 9.15pm and had to wait for a table (15mins) after a place over the road was queuing out of the door. I am glad we ended up in here, the staff were well organised and friendly and the food was good. Mix of dishes available,... More

They serve traditional Belgian dishes. Took the carbonnade, a Belgian-style stew. Despite high expectations the food was average, similar as in any Belgian restaurants. Bad that they do not take cards, quite penny-pinching.

Me and my boyfriend visited Brussels in December and one night were wondering where to go for dinner so checked TripAdvisor's top lists for the city and found this place was pretty high up so decided we'd check it out! We walked into town (around 6pm) but when we got to the restaurant the place was PACKED - we couldn't... More

This place looked good as we walked past so we went in . Good service and the food was well cooked with substantial portions but it quickly filled up and we were packed together at times finding it difficult to keep our places without pushing people on adjacent table. This restaurant is well worth visiting at a quiet time We... More

Not the place to go for a romantic dinner but very good to go with friends and have good Belgian food (and big portions!!!) with a beer, for a decent price in a very animated and cheerfull atmosphere. They even have some very nice vegetarian option, although my friend and I went for the rabbit and ham.

After reading all the great reviews my wife and I decided to go to this Restaraunt. It is very quirky inside with different size four seater tables packed closely together. We were lucky it wasn't busy as we would have been elbow to elbow with other customers. We walked in and were sat down then left alone for a long... More
