Little Gem

Run by two ladies, it has a marvellous menu, beautifully prepared and presented. Not an up market restaurant and service is as it comes - absolutely delightful and will return when the opportunity arises.

First warning: Reserve the evening for just this experience, not being in a hurry. Second advice: Just sit down. Order a bottle of wine (nice cellar!) while studying which menu you´d like to have. Then, order! Third advice; Enjoy - for the rest of the evening - the life unfolding under the two ladies running the restaurant, and their lovely... More

Indeed kind of a hidden gem in an old fashioned but cosy environment. Very very good food, no mistakes. It does take quite some time. I believe they have their own parking for clients. Best to make a reservation.

This is a hidden gem in Brussels. Run by two elderly ladies, one in the kitchen, the other doing the service, both with a touch of a librarian, and in an ambiente which has something of an old-fashioned living room. Very good food, and excellent service, once you get used to the quite style.

Nice food in an unexpected area in St. Josse near Botanique. Very simple decor but doesn't hurt your eyes or apetite. One lady in the kitchen and the other one in service. I can imagine the service can be slow. It is slow and very slow. Not for your lunch break. You have to have a lot of patience and... More

I stumbled upon this gem after a week of pretty miserable hotel food nearby on a business trip Absolutely delightful place. Warm, intimate even though I was eating alone. Will be a regular for me from now on.

Les Dames Tartine offers since nearly 30 years the most amazing dishes...from courses sprankled with the most amazing Italian truffles to desert created on Madagascar vanille. Michelle & Anne know how to surprise their guest each and every time. Most likely the best price quality restaurant in Brussels !

Our hotel was a 20 minute walk from more central restaurant areas, so I looked on TripAdvisor for something nearby. Les Dames Tartine popped up, with a number of good reviews. I was worried about not having a reservation on a Saturday night, so we went a bit early (19:15). The Tartine who greeted us was not very warm at... More

Although it is located in an unpromising part of Brussels, the dining experience at Les Dames is superlatively good. Every course of the meal was wonderful. It certainly deserves its Michelin star.

Unlike another reviewer, I did not have to wait, and the service was friendly and impeccable. Perhaps better to go late (9:00) during the week. The menu was superb, with two lobster dishes delicately interrupted with a plate of fresh asparagus and truffles. Along with l"Hotellerie St-Nicolas (Elverdinge), this was better than two 3-star restaurants I dined at.
