Slowest Meal of about 11000 in a restaurant

OK, yes, the food was delicious, the bottle we ordered was great (the house wine was extremely boring). Great asparagus a la flamande with a little truffle (less than advertised in the menu), fantastic Risotto (with a lot more truffle) next to the partridge. BUT, i did not even REMEMBER my... read more

Very small restaurant run by two ladies whose passion for food simply oozes. This is a place for spending an evening - not for grabbing a quick dinner. Book in advance as it is very small and if you have a larger party your menu will be restricted to a set tasting menu (which was my personal choice anyway). Good... More

Had a wonderful meal here in May. It is a quirky small restaurant - you have to bang on the door to be let in, and only with a small number of tables. We chose the fixed menu based on truffles and lobster. It was magnificent. Very fresh ingredients, French inspired cuisine. The two ladies who are the owners and... More

Run by two ladies, it has a marvellous menu, beautifully prepared and presented. Not an up market restaurant and service is as it comes - absolutely delightful and will return when the opportunity arises.

First warning: Reserve the evening for just this experience, not being in a hurry. Second advice: Just sit down. Order a bottle of wine (nice cellar!) while studying which menu you´d like to have. Then, order! Third advice; Enjoy - for the rest of the evening - the life unfolding under the two ladies running the restaurant, and their lovely... More

Indeed kind of a hidden gem in an old fashioned but cosy environment. Very very good food, no mistakes. It does take quite some time. I believe they have their own parking for clients. Best to make a reservation.

This is a hidden gem in Brussels. Run by two elderly ladies, one in the kitchen, the other doing the service, both with a touch of a librarian, and in an ambiente which has something of an old-fashioned living room. Very good food, and excellent service, once you get used to the quite style.

Nice food in an unexpected area in St. Josse near Botanique. Very simple decor but doesn't hurt your eyes or apetite. One lady in the kitchen and the other one in service. I can imagine the service can be slow. It is slow and very slow. Not for your lunch break. You have to have a lot of patience and... More

I stumbled upon this gem after a week of pretty miserable hotel food nearby on a business trip Absolutely delightful place. Warm, intimate even though I was eating alone. Will be a regular for me from now on.

Les Dames Tartine offers since nearly 30 years the most amazing dishes...from courses sprankled with the most amazing Italian truffles to desert created on Madagascar vanille. Michelle & Anne know how to surprise their guest each and every time. Most likely the best price quality restaurant in Brussels !
