Good fusion food.

Evening out with colleagues. Well prepared Japanese-Belgian fusion food. The portions err on the side if nouvelle - quite petite. Hard to comment on the ambience as our group took over the place. Food is very good.

I went here for dinner with friends and had an amazing time. We took the surprise menu. The combination of Asian and continental ingredients are surprising and tastes really wonderful. The value for your money is good. The service is excellent (the waiter checks before you order if you are allergic or if you do not like any particular ingredient). I... More

Absolutely worth it. Chef Oki maintains high standards in his restaurant. Everything we tried was delicious, including the deserts.

This place has been long on our bucket list following the raving reviews on TA. We took the 4-course menu for 40 euro. The starter was excellent, but what followed was mediocre at best. On the positive side is their comprehensive and fairly priced wine list, a cosy setting (although it does get noisy when filled up) and friendly staff.... More

We opted for the 4-course "les yeux fermees" surprise menu (39€). The 2 starters were tasty and unique, especially the sushi foie gras. Our expectations for the main were rather high but we were somehow disappointed. The main was pheasant in white wine sauce that tasted rather basic and blunt. Very average really. The dessert was a nice chocolate mouse with... More

In a quite street near place Flagey, Chez Oki restaurant delivers an intricate fusion of Japanese and French cuisine. We took a four course menu - they also offer 3 and 5 course ones - which positively reflects on the invoice in comparison to a dinner a la carte, but it leaves you wondering what you might get from the... We all very much likes the style of the reataurant. Although it became a bit noisy towards the end of the evening with even table occupied. Try getting a table in the back part of the restaurant. Also very nice to have the open kitchen and see the chef preparing the food. The food was really good. We all had... More

Excellent and delicious food but... but one hour and 10 minutes between entrée and main dish is just way too long ( table of only two people).

Food was delicious, service quite fast and also nice and friendly. We got one 30€ and one 40€ menus. They bring different things from the starter to the dessert. The maki style rolls with salmon, tuna and something I can't remember were absolutely fantastic. The canard was also very well cooked, tasty and served very nicely. Dessert very innovative and... The French-Japanese fusion may seem a bit strange on the surface, but was incredibly delicious. The staff was pleasant and attentive, and the food -while not cheap -was well worth the money. It's in a slightly sketchy neighbourhood, but don't let that put you off. (While it doesn't have a Michelin star, it is recommended by Michelin, and Chef Oki... More
