(meat) but a great cheese (goat's) and salmon salad (an unlikely combination that works), super red mullet fillets with a vinegary/creamy sauce and an acceptable penne with mixed vegetables. It is a fashionable place in the upper part of Brussels and always full. The mix of people is what is intersting. The food is sometimes very good and at times a little disapointing

I'd eaten at Les Brassins a few times before and always enjoyed the food. Delicious Belgian classics at fairly reasonable prices, with good service in a pleasant atmosphere. I decided to take my lady out for a pre-cinema dinner, and was relieved to have reserved because when we arrived, the restaurant was packed. I'd allowed an hour and a half... More

The restaurant was 10 minutes away from our hotel and it's situated on a quiet street. My wife and I shared a bucket of mussels with white wine and a "simple face" steak. We enjoyed both dishes, and the beer I had was also very good and refreshing.

We went one friday without reservation to have dinner (we were 4) and soon they prepared us a table next to the window. Quick in service. 20€ per person and we took amazing chicons, carbonnades and stoemp. Everything was delicious, I really recommend what we took, specially the chicons. Wine, beer and water as drinks. I will come back for... More

A nice unpretentious brasserie with typical Belgian dishes and a good beer selection. Hidden on a street outside the main roads. Audrey Hepburn's birth house is a few houses away. No debit or credit cards accepted.

Pleasant restaurant close to the centre of Brussels in a quiet pedestrian street a few doors from the house Audrey Hepburn was born. Retro feel with nice old wooden tables and chairs and antique brewing advertising enamels and posters - it feels older than its 38 years. Nice waitress was happy to turn down the initially intrusive vintage rock. Standard... More

A friend of mine living in Belgium recommended this place for an authentic traditional Belgian meal. It was off from all the tourist restaurants on a quite street. I ordered the single rabbit leg which was fabulous. Overall great atmosphere, good beer selection, and fast service. Worth the walk.

I really like the place, good fresh, Belgian good old food. But did the plates become smaller? I had Carbonnades, 4 pieces of meat... Was bit hungry after. We come here few times a year and it is always good. Hope it is not cost reductions! Also, pay only in cash?! Big minus for me...

Had a few people suggesting this place. We liked this place as it is away from all the tourist traps, located on a quiet street. I took the advice from TA and booked ahead, all tables were reserved when we arrived so thanks for the advanced warning TA! The staffs were very friendly and helpful, I had the beef stew... More
