Very nice pancakes

I was looking for somewhere that we can eat pancakes ( it was a pancake day lol) with my 6 years old daughter so we find les brassins :) We enjoyed the indoor seating. The pancakes (Dutch-not US pancakes) are like crepes and delicious. They also have huge range of beers as well :) We can... read more

Excellent Food at a reasonable price. Can highly recommend the Carbonadeflamandeor stooflees. One of my favourite places to visit.

It seems like the chef has changed here... Been bere few months back and loved everything but now went with friends and most of us hated the food Shrimp in garlic and onion soup are fine but the carbonade was way to sweet and just off You are in Belgium so things that are typically Belgian should be up to... Going here often, I was not at all surprised by the superb dinner I had yesterday! The boeuf simple face is always garantee of great beef in its own special way - the meat is cooked only on one side and the other is marinated with mustard, onions and persil - savoury and original. The beer list is an amazing... More

I've been in this restaurant (estaminet) several times and it always satisfied my expectations. The restaurant is small, simple but cozy. In my opinion the carbonnade and stoemp are "superbe". I tried also sausages, hamburger, tuna, tarte tatin, tiramisù (with speculoos)...everything good as well. The beer list also needs a mention. Prices are absolutely good... (cards are not accepted, only... More

Great food, great atmosphere. Try the moule et frites or the filet! Wide selection of beers, each with their own original glass!

Not the best service really. I wouldn't say they were rude, but they were lacking in any form of 'customer service' and seemed more focussed on pumping the food out quickly to be able to clear and refill tables. This aside, the food was rather good actually. I had the lapin a la kriek - rabbit cooked in cherry beer.... More

What a shocking little hovel of a restaurant - Quite the rudest staff I have ever encountered in Brussels, a traditionally very friendly city. The 'restaurant' should really have sign outside saying ' Brits not welcome'. I strongly suggest you don't darken the door of this wildly overrated back street establishment. Nuff said.

Excellent traditional belgian food, located in the heart of Ixelles. The Stoemp and Jambonneau are amazing. Waiters are very professional. The bad point it is not big, so you might have to wait some time to get your table. Highly recommended.

If I could, I would rate this restaurant zero. I had been here before and found the ambiance pleasant enough in a touristy kind of way, and the food OK. This time I did not enjoy so much the food - the lapin au kriek was tepid; the friets were oily, and the moulieux au chocolat was unremarkable. There seemed... More
