Lunch before Horta opens

I grabbed a bite before the Horta museum opened at 2pm. It's just down the block from the Horta. I would go out of my way to come here, but it was a perfect stop before hitting the museum. I got eggplant Parmesan, which was a big portion. It was good but not the type I've had in America. You... read more

Good choice of pizza pasta and lighter bites to eat. Friendly and prompt service in surroundings of interesting decor. Fair priced, large portions. Would visit again

Went here with a group of friends, had read good things about the pizzas so partner and I both ordered from the pizza menu. They were quite expensive (17 euro for a medium), came in three sizes, and were terrible: soggy crusts, over loaded with bad cheese, and not fire oven baked! My partner ate around the edge of hers... This is a very nice restaurant, it has a cozy and laidback atmosphere. I asked for a vegan pizza (not on the menu) and could compose my own pizza. I had tomato sauce, grilled vegetables (zucchini, eggplant, red & yellow peppers), grilled artichokes, rucola, pine nuts. The crust was super thin and perfect. One of the best pizzas ever! There... Lovely restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Very friendly and attentive servers. Lots of choices on the menu. From healthy salads to yummy pizzas, pastas and meat and fish options. I ordered a lovely linguini with a creamy sauce with wild mushrooms and bacon. Fabulous! The red house wine (a Tempranillo) was excellent. Nice and rich. No room for dessert, maybe... More

I eat out 3 or 4 times a week and this is one of those places that is THE place be at right now. The people in there were some of the nicest I have ever befriended whilst eating out on my own. The food was certainly not "cafe" food. The taste, presentation and quality is what you would expect... More

We decided to go to Cafe Panisse after we bought the Resto Pass for Brussels. The place doesnt look much from the outside but we were really impressed with the food and the service. Our group had a mixture of dishes..Chicken, Lamb, Pizzas and all went down well! Service was friendly and efficient and overall this was a great night... More

When we arrived, the heating system was down and the temperature 17°. Pretty cold. OK, bad luck, I guess the other days the heating will function. While the restaurant announces Provencale food, the stress is on Pizza's. Most clients are young people that consider the place to be trendy. Its is a bit noisy. Food, wine and service where average... More

Knowing that Museum Horta doesn't open until 2 PM, I was looking for a lunch spot nearby. Cafe Panisse didn't look too promising, being somewhat small and dim, with tables a bit close together. However, the location was right, the waiter welcoming, and the menu interesting, so I went in. I can't vouch for the rest of the menu, but... More

Nice place with good food at a good price. The tables are too near each other and the service is average. I would recommend this restaurant
