A true example of a Belgian brasserie: good food, honest price, acceptable level of service. In spring or summer you can eat outside on a heated terrace. They are also very good and specialised in sea food such as oysters and lobsters.

A nice location on the outskirts of Waterloo, They serve typical brasserie food but on top they have a great selection of oysters , lobsters etc.... The staff is very young and mistakes in the orders are frequent but trough their kindness and speedy correction these mistakes are fast forgotten. The are also very friendly and accommodating with children. We... More

We had been there a few times some years back and eventually decided it was not that great. This time, staying close by, but not able to stay with relatives as usual, we ended up going there again, and we like the food. Then when our son, wife and grandson arrived the next day, it turned out to be convenient... More

We always like it here. They do great seafood, but apart from that there is classic Belgian brasserie cuisine, at prices that don't break the bank, and choices for all age groups. Eating outside on sunny days. Only one difficulty - parking is never easy.....

I went with my husband for dinner. The waiters were fast and observant, which was very positive, the food was average which in my book means ok for a weekday dinner. I have never had any of the seafood platters at this place, and if I were to have a seafood platter I would probably choose a different restaurant with... More

Nice local brasserie. I had a visit here on a hot July early evening and chose the barbeque card as I was sitting outside on the grass terrace - food was OK - the starter, a shrimp croquette seemed a little prefabricated - the argentinian entrecote seemed on the other hand to be of good quality and the bernaise definitely... We were really late for dinner (10:30 pm), but it was not a problem at Six Colonnes. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome. I had a filet mignon with green pepper sauce and fries (Belgian fries are the real deal, don't call them "French"), and my wife ordered a "duo de croquettes." All of this was... More

One things about 6 Colonnes is that you'll rarely ever get a bad meal. I have never had one and i don't know any of my friends that have. it is typical brasserie fair, but genuinely good quality, you pay for this a little. The staff are excellent, professional waiters and waitresses. Fish is always a safe option and the... More
