Good Belgian Brasserie - not just for seafood !

I have been at this restaurant several times over the past 10+ years. I have never been disappointed. Their food is always fresh and good, regardless whether you take seafood or not. One hour waiting before even getting the menu and the place was not full at all. Unpleasant and unpolite service. Average quality. Far less good than before.

Lovely decor, we ate in the conservatory which seamlessly joins the main building. The staff are attentive and plentiful. The food is good, my fish cassolette was delicate and flavoursome. The brasserie also has a fresh fish counter (for retail sales) and you can be sure of the freshness of the ingredients. Warmly recommended for a relaxed meal with your... More

We regularly visit this restaurant and most of the time it is great. Our experience is that on weekend evenings they are so oversold or understaffed . Long delays and mistake in orders. The staff however is very friendly and willing. So , a great place during the week.

Whether you come for a drink after work, have the lunch menu or a full meal, you won't be disappointed. Service can be slow, but this place always offers good food, especially sea food. Parking can be a problem but in this area it is work the wait or sort out parking to be waited on professionally and enjoy any... More

I'm living in Waterloo and have been at this Belgian style Brasserie already several times. After visiting several attractions with my five American visitors in Waterloo, we arrived at "Les Six Colonnes" mid afternoon. It was a sunny day and we decided to sit outside and have a small bite. Their menu "Petit Restauration" is quite nice and we all... More

A true example of a Belgian brasserie: good food, honest price, acceptable level of service. In spring or summer you can eat outside on a heated terrace. They are also very good and specialised in sea food such as oysters and lobsters.

A nice location on the outskirts of Waterloo, They serve typical brasserie food but on top they have a great selection of oysters , lobsters etc.... The staff is very young and mistakes in the orders are frequent but trough their kindness and speedy correction these mistakes are fast forgotten. The are also very friendly and accommodating with children. We... More

We had been there a few times some years back and eventually decided it was not that great. This time, staying close by, but not able to stay with relatives as usual, we ended up going there again, and we like the food. Then when our son, wife and grandson arrived the next day, it turned out to be convenient... More

We always like it here. They do great seafood, but apart from that there is classic Belgian brasserie cuisine, at prices that don't break the bank, and choices for all age groups. Eating outside on sunny days. Only one difficulty - parking is never easy.....
