This is the third time in a year at l'Amitie for me and I am happy to report that the third time was just as good as the first if not better. The proprietor/head chef is brilliant in letting the dishes speak for themselves by keeping things simple. The flavours are spot on and the dishes are well presented without... More

A small and friendly restaurant with a beautiful and perfect menu which makes it rather difficult to select the right dish. However we believe it doesn't matter what the selection is, all plates were more than perfect. Cooked with the heart and served with love. Don't forget to ask the matching wines with each dish. They know what to serve... More

Each time I want to write something good I hesitate. The service, although very correct, was missing something. The waiter/owner appears very gruff at times and a little condescending even though he smiled towards the end. A good wine selection but over priced. We had a lovely amuse of mussels in a cream curry sauce. My calamari in salsa and... More

Okay, the food is fresh and the wine is good (but expensive)however, the basic approach of the waiter seems something between no-nonsense and 'hautain'. Unfortunately the latter is more appropriate to describe this sweaty man who seems to run a pizzeria during high-season in rome instead of an overpriced french restaurant. If you want to eat french and be served... More

I went there for the third time (together with friends), but this was certainly the last time. The food was below average. We ordered the special steak, which was served just as home. The steak, with some french fries and salad. That's was it. After we had finished, the waiter came with the Béarnaise sauce which they had forgotten. That... More

Good food and reasonable prices are the assets of this place. All gets killed through an arrogant and irritating waiter destroying all the fun. Hope to read the waiter leaves the place and we will be back.

Very cosy athmosphere (in an old coffee-roasting factory) brought to you thanks to exquisite dishes, unconventional wines (what about the "house apero"? a good alternative choice!) and a great sense of humor of the waiter!
