Good Thai food, service not great, odd venue

Some of the best Thai food I have had for some time, but doesn't top Sukothai in Leeds. Not the usual Thai dishes and lack of Pad Thai made some of the menu inaccessible for someone who has issues with chilli. Service was off hand at best, had to attract attention more than once. Wine list... read more

Little Buddha is a real favourite of mine & my hubby. The atmosphere is super cosy & fancy & the food is so flavoursome. Price wise, I think it's very reasonable. Be sure to book if you are going on a Sat night as it does get pretty busy!

Not only the food but also the restaurant and the atmosphere. I love everything about this place. We had a very friendlu waiter. I can recommand the shrimps and if you have a little bit place left the dessert with the baked bananas is incredible.

First problem was that we had to wait for 40mins until we had our starter. Then we had to wait for an hour and a half until we got our main dish. And on top of the cake: when the manager came by and asked us if everything was alright, we mentioned that we had to wait a little too... More

Nice lounge atmosphere, very cosy restaurant. Service was extremely slow but friendly. We arrived at 8 pm and got our main course after 10pm. However, our waiter (that did indeed not speak the local language, nor Thai ) was extremely friendly so we could not blame him. Wine list was poor and not very long. Food was good. Portions not... If you are looking for a wannabe "hot" spot and you don't expect good food or service, then this is your place to be. But please stay away if you are looking for good asian food and good hospitality service. First of all, the place is situated in Antwerp, but the staff doesn't speak the local language. Secondly, the staff... More

No surprise there, comments are accurate. If you don't draw the staff's attention don't expect to get any... The food is OK, the wine list very poor. Unique atmosphere in the Antwerp scene though.

Came here with the family for dinner on a Sat eve. The place was full. After reading other reviews on this site, we feared the worst in terms of service and our expectations were generally met. The food was generally ok - though nothing special. The service was slow and erratic. I would not go back.

Friends of us booked a table here for the 4 of us and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was great, the service a little slow, but when you have good company it doesn't matter too much. An old man fell down and the waiter helped him and even helped him too the toilet and back, which we though was... More

First time round, was a very pleasant surprise - good ambience, tasty food, god service, polite staff. Second visit was a disaster!!!!!!!!!!!! Took them 1.5h to serve the cold main course (after going to the them to complain), the waiter was very rude and the manageress totally incompetent/non-existent. If you are prepared to take the chance, give it a try... More
