Good place to have breakfast with friends

Great food, nice place, reasonable prices, fast and very friendly service. Mampoko is perfect in many ways. It can be busy and loud sometimes, but it's all part of the charm. Don't forget to make a reservation!

Saterday-evening. On the phone we were told the restaurant was fully booked so they could only squeeze us in at 9:30 p.m. which eventually became 9 p.m. in the end. When we arrived it was quite busy nevertheless we got the only free table next to the window which was great! The service was great, the food simple, good ingredients... More

It is a nice and cozy place, very freindly staff and the food is good, fresh and healthy, the only negative aspect was the noisiness, we were there on a saturday eveening and zhere were two bigger groups of guests, so it was hard to understand each other. but I would definitely return foor the very good dinnner for reasonable... We went for brunch on a fairly miserable rainy Sunday morning and were delighted to find a quiet piece of culinary sunshine in Antwerp. The restaurant suits all tastes and menus, has books, games and highchairs for children and is run by a laid-back but professional staff. There was no problem in ordering a gluten-free meal or checking the ingredients... More

On a shopping spree to Antwerp my wife had heard about this place "local brasserie for local people" so we went for a walk to find it. Twenty minutes later we were there. From outside it has a great wide glass front which offers a very nice view in and out. It has an African feel to it since all... More

We had heard about this cafe's amazing breakfast called Mampoko Royal and it was as good as the hype. A three tire platter with salmon, cheeses, ham, eggs, fruit, crossonts etc. The Art Deco decor is fabulous and we were very pleased that we went looking for it.

Came here with a friend as we were traveling south, as it had good reviews on TripAdvisor! We came in quite early (about 6pm) and were able to get a table without a reservation, but it seemed that they were reserved for later in the evening. Definitely not meant for tourists, the menu is only in Dutch (but the waiter... More

We were a large one of around 16 and they gave us two adjacent tables, which was good. We moved from table to table (a little like dinner dates!) and the staff were cool. The drinks came quickly, there was a good selection of local cuisine - all in a nice laid back atmosphere. As many of us did not... More

This is great place for any meal, it has a decent menu but always has a very good suggestions board, from a croque to duck legs in wild season the dishes here are always to a high standard.
