I've enjoyed numerous lunches and dinners in this little restaurant. Lunch is a bento box with lot's of fresh vegetables and a choice between fish and meat. Dinner is a menu that changes every week and follows the seasons, you have the option to add courses depending on how hungry you are. If you don't like certain ingredients the chef... More

We had a wonderful evening at Les saveurs the Yamada and we are certain that we'll eat here many times more. We took the intermediate menu which included a small appetizer, an entree, a noodle soup, a tempura dish, a main dish and a desert. Vegans and vegetarians, you can rest assured here: you will have a wonderful meal. Omnivores:... More

This is my go to Japanese restaurant in Antwerp. The lunch box @ 15 euro is great value for money. The husband-wife team run this restaurant perfectly. All the ingredients are first class and the taste is truly authentic. Dinner is exceptional though it might take a while when the restaurant is full of diners.

Nice atmosphere in good walking distance from Antwerp City Centre. They only offer a degustation menu, which was absolutely okay for us. You only have to choose the number of courses you like. All is freshly cooked and prepared. We liked the excellent tofu (you rarely find this quality in Europe) and the super fresh sashimi best. The fish and... More

I've experienced Les Saveurs de Yamada only during lunch. Here's a fixed choice between fish and meat. Your lunch is served as a typical Japanese bento-box including miso soup, a dish made from either fish or meat, some salad, rice and a nice dessert. A perfect healthy lunch at a correct price.

Accompanied by a kind host, we experienced a wonderful Japanese culinary journey. Every single dish was prepared with love and care, super fresh and delicate. Definitely a must go when in Antwerp!

This restaurant works with one menu and pending on the amount of courses you pick (5-6-7) you pay either 30 - 37 - 44 euros. No choice in dishes except for choosing between meat (steak) or fish (salmon) when you go for the 6 course menu. It sounds simple, but at first it's still a bit complicated. The Japanese dishnames... Been here many times and it doesn't let down. There's been taken care of your food and drinks here in a way you don't easily find anywhere else, at least not for this price. Even your green tea is made with bottled water because of the better flavor. The meals are just amazing: you don't have to think about what... More

Every course was a new experience in taste. Every course was pleasing to the eye. The whole was excellent. Small place with explanation what it is an the degustation of the Sake was also eye opening. Will definitely go there again

Once again I really enjoyed having dinner at Les Saveurs de Yamada. The set menu exists of several dishes and even though it takes plusminus 3 hours to work your way through it, you still have the feeling that you've had a light meal. For drinks I recommend the sake tasting: every sake has a story of its own.
