I'm often around in the neighbourhood and since the first time I was introduced to this cosy bistro, I keep coming back. The food is delicious, the concept is cool: select your favourite meatball and salad or 'stump'... Enjoy!

Yesterday, we had lunch near de the MAS in Antwerp. Love the concept and the price/quality ratio. It is simple but of good quality. Your meal is complimented with water and some grapes on the table. My companion took the meatball with read cabbage and pear accompanied by the Stoemp (Dutch/Belgian mash with vegetables). I had the meatball with spinach... More

I visited this restaurant on a Saturday evening, while visiting Antwerp. I took the fixed menu with one big meatball (with cheese) and stoemp. The service was rather slow and the "meat"ball was well below expectations. For 12€ we were given something that did not contain lots of meat and tasted as a fried ball reheated at the spot.

My girlfriend and I picked up from here a while back and had mixed feelings. We tried several flavours and found that the flavours came off a bit too strong. It took away from the nicely made meatballs itself. The stuffing was a bit too flavourful to our likings.

I had the fixed menu which included a large meatball and stoemp, which were both delicious. There's also a small gourmet market attached and I took a quick stroll around it after I ate. The real standout was one the staff who not only called us a taxi but also ran out onto the side street where we were waiting... More

It's a lovely simple place. Airy. The menu is short but it's excited well. My meatball was crunchy on the outside, soft goey inside. Perfect with a beer or a glass of wine. Friendly staff too.

I am not a big meat eater, but I can promise you...these balls are just DELICIOUS!! I tried their balls on the festival of Tomorrowland, and not expecting too much of festival food I had the NICEST surprise ever! Their balls are served with homemade potato mash with vegetables, and filled with delicious stuff... Typical old style Belgian food in... More

Absolutely fabulous, the balls. Surprising. Also the location is historic (St Felix Warehouse) but yet again transformed to a trendy place at the yacht harbor.

Came here for lunch today. Made reservations two days ago. Very simple concept: you get to choose between two stuffings (cherry or blue cheese) and two side dishes (mashed potatoes and lentil salad). I chose the ball with cherry stuffing and mashed potatoes and carrots as a side. Cherry stuffing was good, but not sweet enough for my taste. The... More
