The glorious is a small restaurant spread over 2 floors of an equal small but cosy building. Downstairs is a very nice wine bar with lots of wood and very warm feeling. And a couple of tables. We were seated on the 1st floor where Chef Johan Van Raes works in his open kitchen. It’s always great to see such... More

Have been celebrating the New Year with friends over there. The food was perfect, classical ingredients in modern combinations, perfectly pared with cahmpagne and wine. I you want to discover unkown wines, got to get there. Great service, and absolutely away from the noisy frenzy new years fuzz.

On September 25th had dinner at The Glorious and opted for a dinner with accompanying wines. The interior of the restaurant is very nice, trendy and upmarket - indeed a very nice place for lunch or dinner. Probably the chef had a bad day that day but one of the starters - a fish carpaccio - was served still half... More

The place is already worth the visit to admire the architectural restauration. We went for dinner, but you can also go to the winebar. Service was welcoming and friendly; The wine selection excellent and professional advice is given. The menu was full of original ideas and the food was exquisite. Book well in advance.

Really nice restaurant in a hip and trendy area of Antwerp. The restaurant has different levels which makes it that you do not feel you are in a very large place. On the level we were sitting the kitchen is open which gives a nice atmosphere. The menu is small but changes regularly. The wine menu is very good and... More

The food was good. The service average. Overall not bad but overpriced. We took the 3 course menu and the upper wine pairing at 55 EUR pp. The waiter refilled our glasses regularly for the first wine and the second, thus when we asked for our desert wine glasses to be refilled we assumed this was part of the deal.... We went for dinner and had a table on second floor where we could witness the chef at work - quite an experience in itself. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. The service was professional and the food and wine lovely.

Instead of going for the set 3 (or 4) course fixed menu (very attractively priced !), we opted for à la carte, with an appetizer and an entrée. Superb grilled langoustines on a bed of white asparagus as an appetizer: totally delicious. My wife had fish as main course on a bed of Mediterranean veggies, while I went for the... More

We had a reservation 2 p.m. and we arrived ten minutes late. We were told that the restaurant had tried to contact us earlier to inform that we should be there 10 minutes earlier. I have indeed received one message in my message box which has been left there only two hours earlier but I haven’t noticed it. The restaurant... More
