Amazing value for money

Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere very much. Perfect staff and nice traditional dished . I had the best 'paling in 't groen' ever. Very nice housewife (Alsace PN at 35 EUR). I certainly will go here again. Staff perfect, brasserie style (cloth napkins).

I've been coming to Maritime for a few years now and always enjoy their mussel pots. A good choice of traditional and exotic styles of mussels but always with generous portions. Wine is excellent and also reasonably priced.

To be honest I was a bit disappointed by the mussels. There portions were really big but I did not find the mussels and the preparation so good. Being belgian I was expecting something much better. But maybe we were just unlucky as the fish soup was really nice though

This place for recommended by every local we met as the best when it comes to mussels. I must admit the "best" is really subjective in this case. Among others we tried the Chef's specialty and ended up with a bowl of boiled vegetables and herbs with mussels in it. No matter what one chooses to order, they always come... More

We came here for mussels based on TripAdvisor reviews and were not disappointed. We were lucky to get a table outside, and ordered mussels "Op de wijze van de Chef" (in the Chef's manner) and were not disappointed. The mussels were succulent and the broth was rich. We also enjoyed fish soup, which was quite good. This place is expensive... More

We visited Antwerp this past March, and this restaurant was a hit. Fresh seafood, prepared simply with delicious vegetables and an incredible wine selection. The restaurant is small, and you'll need reservations, and the trestle table set up might be weird or Americans...but it was awesome. Because you are kind of seated communally, it enabled us to meet Italian businessmen... More

No matter the season, this restaurant is always full of people, lots of fun with the Antwerp hospitality of owner and personnel and the food always delicious. Reservations are a must, because as well local people as some tourists frequent the place. Right in the heart of Antwerp, cooking the best mussles ( national dish) and also some seasonal Belgian... I was advised by one of my friends who travels regularly that they have the best Mussels and I must say I was not disappointed. It is not a question of how they are prepared (I had the chefs special and the vegetables on top were a bit overpowering) but the quality of the mussels themselves - small and succulent.... More

We all know that sometimes things can go wrong. In this case it was the soup (which contained by far to much salt and was not eatable) and that we have received the wrong main course (which we didnt order). However, it is unacceptable that our complains have been totally ignored. Very disappointing!
