The best bread in Belgium and much more

This was an outstanding meal in every way and we would have gone back IF it was open on week ends. The cosy, home-made dishes felt like they were made by your mum at home if she was also a very talented cook. The baked trout was extremely innovative (bean and red rice toppings) and the Pasta with... read more

The place is cool with the kitchen on sight and some of the cooks being really nice. However there were some flaws which spoiled the complete experience: - we got a Malbec wine bottle which was worth 40 € which was brought to us already opened (when we mentioned it to the waitress, we didn't get any apology but an... Found this restaurant by accident..what a find!! Sat solo at the chef bar to watch them do their work. Noticed it was a set price fix menu but didn't think I could eat that much food. They said no problem..order what you like. With a little help from chef/sous-chef, I had a few dishes. In particular, I had the bone... More

The food was terrific and the wine selection and local beer is a must. it is a set price dinner but lots of choices in each section. My favorite is the Bone Marrow for appitizers and Lamb for main course. Be prepared to spend some time for dinner. It took 3 approx 3 hours for mine. Service is the best... More

Great lunch experience. First a razor shell dish with accompanying hop beer brew and pork belly on a sweet fennel puree accompanied with a light red bourgogne. As main dishes, lambsmeat delicately wrapped in a cabbage leaf, accompanied with small vegetables. Served with an excellent red wine from Cahors. Traded desert for another great hop brew. We will definitely be... More

Good food, lots of taste, not that nicely presented as it could be (more a rough French bistro style). The selected wines were perfect companions to the dishes! Nice to sit at the bar and enjoy the cooking or ask for a more quiet table. Reservations necessary, closed for the weekend.

Again a great evening, again at the counter around the kitchen. It is great to see all those dishes prepared and then enjoying them. Staff is superfriendly and always willing to answer your questions. We had skate with pickeled vegetables (me) and my friend had french pigeon with shitake and corn. As desert we had our favorite Sabayon freshly made.

I like it to sit at the bar, it is lively and I like the atmosphere. The food is superb, the steak is juicy and you have to try the fish in salt crust!

Very nice place. Cosy atmosphere. companionable chief and the team, cooking right in front of you. Try seabass as a main dish and ask the chief to advise on starters, as there are seasonable ones.

Great food, a little pricey but worth it. The chef makes a short menu but everything on it was delicious. If you can, go in the fall months because they get a wide variety of fresh game brought in. The wild boar was incredible
