Love the meat

My favourite place when I want to eat a fine piece of meat. Only one dish for me here: the cote à l'os. A dish for two. I don't know anyone who regretted it. Only disadvantage can be the surrounding tables. Sometimes, and more often later on the evening when the drinks are many, it can be quite... read more

We had a shocking experience here. I sent back the "Decadent burger" at 30 euros, because the bread was old hard and cheap, and I got a massive lump of gristle. It is the first time I have ever sent a meal back. I happily reordered a vegetarian option. By the time my partner had completely finished his meal, been... More

* Dry aged rib steak of my first choice unavailable, my second choice, a beef tenderloin was dessapointing, pan fried, under-cooked, the sauce was served on the plate and not in a saucer (though no extra charge), salad was poor (baby corns and beans) and the fries over-fried (brown) --> the price was fair --> 28.50 euros * The sole... A Sunday night in Antwerp - hard to get a reservation at the 11th hour but our concierge got us in and we had a nice evening. The surrounding tables made for interesting people watching .... Unfortunately neither of us remembered what we ate - sorry - but it was fine. Interesting decor - horses and cows ....

Recommended here by our hotel. Initially we were a little concerned by the horse paraphernalia but realised it offers more than just meat. Only criticism would be the size of portions can be quite large but otherwise food and service was good and would happily come back although would order less!

Off the back streets from the Cathedral, but this place is still very busy. We couldn't get in on first passing on a Sunday might, but returned on the Monday evening and just got a table. The place has a nice relaxed atmosphere and the main attraction are the steaks, with the beef of various breeds being hung at the... More

We had the set seasonal menu. The food was tasty and the servings large for the main course. The free side servings of fries were amazingly huge. The horse steak was tasty and the tart of the was tasty. 40 euro per person for three courses and drinks is good value.

After several attempts finally found this restaurant on the list TripAd. For some unknown reasons he went down in the ranking much, but was on the top some times ago. I liked this restaurant and remembered out visit. Very pleasant atmosphere and quality food of Belgian- French cuisine but not chip at all. We took onion soup and steaks. Tasty,... More

The restaurant has a nice ambiance, but feels rather cramped - trying to squeeze in too many tables I suspect. The choice of food is very good, as is the quality of the food. The wait for the food did seem slightly longer than one might expect. It is a very popular place. The prices are on the high side,... More
