Helpful service and competently cooked food.

Pleasant enough place in a central location. Enjoyed a good meal of pate followed by hake. Good service.

We went here based on the guide book recommendation and were not disappointed. My boyfriend and I both had the set menu which consisted of four courses - every one delicious and very well presented. We had tuna, lobster, venison and sorbet. For €36.50 each it was very reasonably priced. The wine wasn't expensive either. The waitresses were very friendly... More

Had a wonderful meal with friends. Was expensive eating away from set menu but worth every penny, left feeling we had eaten a quality freshly cooked and delicious plate of food. My husband had lobster, best he had eaten in a long time. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed a very good meal in this old building near the cathedral. The food was well-presented and all delicious, the limited wine list not badly priced. Two sorts of foie gras on the starter menu, both excellent.

what a surprise! Real authentic cuisine and family service. Simple dishes, short menu, all signs of fresh food. Service is sometimes a bit messy. We will go back, for sure.

We were offered a table booked by our Hotel for a Saturday night. (extremely lucky) All I can say that the hosts at this delightful little place reminded me of being back in france 10 years ago. The menu is limited... but I prefer that... no reheated or bing bing meals here. I'll get straight to the point. My wife... More

The translation into English of this delightful restaurant's name is "The Saving Angel", which was quite appropriate. My friend and I were lucky enough to get a table on a recent Saturday night when it seemed like every place in downtown Antwerp was full. The affable host seated us and we were soon tucking into a terrific meal. I had... More

Almost unadvertedly ended up in this little restaurant right next to the Antwerp cathedral in the old town while looking for a place to dine. The food was simply sublime as was the setting with the view and ringing bells from the cathedral during the whole meal. In the midst of a mediocre gastronomy offer from the touristic restaurants around... More

This restaurant serves really excellent french cuisine for a reasonable price. I have been here multiple times, food is just great! Simple, but so full of flavor! You go here for the food, because the interior is really outdated and full of weird decorations. But don't let that scare you, and try their special of the house, traditional french bouillabaisse... This place has quite a confusing menu, the set menu's are really cheap at 29 euro of 36euro for 3 and a half courses. If you want something outside of the set menu, it becomes extremely expensive at more than 21 euro for a starter. The champagne was sickly and overpriced and the food really wasn't that great. The atmosphere... More
