We took a day trip to The Hague and my daughter was looking for authentic Dutch pancakes so I noticed they were on the menu!! I'm glad I did! We had Dutch apple cake and coffee, a chocolate covered cream bun and the Dutch pancakes with chocolate sauce. The service was efficient, the food was lovely and not expensive due... More

This is typical continental cafe-the ones we don't have in London and I really miss! Great for coffee, a drink or a light lunch while looking at the Dutch passing by or the trams going up and down the road. All the Starbucks and Costas in London can't substitute for the experience!

As a regular visitor to Den Haag I have frequented the kerbside terrace in the established for more years than I care to rember. I was a little suprised, therefore, to be told by a friend that the venue had been booked for diiner with a group of 7 of us. I knew the place had recently been refurbished but... More

Historic café and restaurant in the centre of The Hague, in the shopping district. Very old restaurant where my grandparents already came in the 1920s; a place to be seen and see people from the open air terrace in front or have a traditional Dutch lunch inside. Staff sometimes a bit grumpy, but that is part of the tradition as... More

Let's get the downside out of the way first, like everything in this area of the Netherlands, it was a bit on the expensive side. Good, now on to the positive. The service was excellent! The waiter was very friendly and quick. Speaking of quick, the food came expeditiously as well. Especially considering they stopped serving food at ten thirty... More

A bit expensive for non-dutch pockets, but I loved the quality of the meals, the view to the city life and the staff were always nice, as dutch usually are! Very romantic.

This restaurant is located very centrally with a tram stop out front. We visited twice - once for morning tea and again for afternoon tea. A great cup of tea and lovely pastries whilst relaxing near a heater (it was extremely cold outside) and watching the activity in the Hague.

The Chateau briand for 2 was very tasty along with all the extras served with it, they had to add an extra table to fit it all in. Good atmosphere and great for people watching. Friendly staff but a little expensive.

I was recently staying in Den Hague and decided to try this restaurant for their breakfast. I was with my aunt and they allowed us to share one. There was so much food, we didn't even eat it all! For $8.50 euros, you get coffee or tea, freshed squeezed orange juice, 1 fried egg, bacon, basket of buns and bread,... More

Don't order the ribs! They are totally tasteless unless you consider "fat" a taste. And the sides are just as awful, with overcooked potatoes, soggy veg, and a couple pieces of lettuce with no dressing as a salad. The house red wine is also really bad - tastes quite bitter. Finally, the service was lazy and dismissive. And, the worst,... More
