The Chateau briand for 2 was very tasty along with all the extras served with it, they had to add an extra table to fit it all in. Good atmosphere and great for people watching. Friendly staff but a little expensive.

I was recently staying in Den Hague and decided to try this restaurant for their breakfast. I was with my aunt and they allowed us to share one. There was so much food, we didn't even eat it all! For $8.50 euros, you get coffee or tea, freshed squeezed orange juice, 1 fried egg, bacon, basket of buns and bread,... More

Don't order the ribs! They are totally tasteless unless you consider "fat" a taste. And the sides are just as awful, with overcooked potatoes, soggy veg, and a couple pieces of lettuce with no dressing as a salad. The house red wine is also really bad - tastes quite bitter. Finally, the service was lazy and dismissive. And, the worst,... More

Our daughter and son-in-law chose to have their wedding dinner and evening reception here. It was a perfect venue. We sat outside in the sunshinefor a glass of bubbly then we were escorted to our beautifully decorated tables. It was a HOT day (27°C) but the room was cool and well ventilated. Our meals were lovely and service was good.... More

Stopped in for dinner with a large group and they were accommodating. Love the outdoor seating and the location. Food was fine, not great. Only bump was the fact that although staff served glass of water to some of our party, later requests were denied because they 'can't serve tap water out here.' A little strange, and a bit annoying.... More

On our recent trip to the Hague my wife and I decided to try this restaurant. We sat outside, thought it a bit unusual that all the outdoor seating faces the raodway, but it's great for people watching. The house wine we had was great and the food was also excellent. The portions were quite large as well. It is... More

't Goude Hooft - the Golden Head is probably the best known restaurant in The Hague, because of the location in the middle of town and is the oldest one. It is not far from the royal palace, but you won't find the king eating here I guess. The building looks great, but the food is not what you would... More

Very nice location, cozy, but it stops there. Been here a couple of time. For drinks it's fine. Dinner: nice setting. Very cozy. But food itself was not awesome. Once we ordered a proper Australian steak, uneatable. Nothing to do with rare/well done, just something wrong with the meat. Something went wrong, freshness, frozen? There goes your €25. Waiter took... More

The Hotel setting is amazing, this restaurant is must for visitors to The Hague. Interesting fact , People sit in front of the restaurant facing one DIRECTION, just as in my village. LOL! I had the warm apple crumble for desert which was a delight.
