This listing belongs to a genre that I would like to see grow in number. If you think about it, where else could you possibly get a better meal with meat than at the butcher. The line at Dungelmann is often long, but it's well worth the wait. Suggestion: 'Broodje beenham with mustard'.

Foods exposed look very inviting and their quality, say me people who know it well, is high. I personally know only traditional "kroketten" and "gebakt bal": very delicious! You can eat standing inside on a shelf on the wall. I advise to come in and enjoy.

I always loved going to Dungelmann's for my Dutch fix when I was living there. The Kroket Broodje with mustard sauce was always a winner, as was the meatball. Good for spreads too. Great for visitors and locals alike. I definitely recommend it.

This butcher store is a classic for kroketten en meatbals, although they have many more delicious sounding sandwiches (but I guess 9 out of 10 order like me a kroketje and/or meatball). Ok, the kroketten are awesome but not the real draw, as they are up to par with Van Dobbe, an Amsterdam specialty that ships nationwide now. So a... More

An institution in The Hague. Make sure you go there for an easy snack while shopping. Service is good. Lines move quickly but the best is the flavor and freshness of the food. If you like meat, this is the place for you. We are frequent visitors and get the meatball without bread- better than my sister in laws.

I live nearby and make it in almost every weekend for a spicy meatball on soft roll with mustard. Awesome! Usually a line but it moves fast and is worth it!

At recommendation of a friend, I went here for a spicy meatball. It's a butcher/delicatessen, who caters also for the hungry passer-by. Just some stand-up counter at the back of the shop, but when you see the queue waiting for their standup lunch, you already know it's worth it. And don't be deterred by the queue, they work fast, friendly... More

Unfortunately, you cannot sit down here, you have to take-out or eat leaning against a counter. And, more often that not, they did not have coffee. But the quality of the sandwiches more than made up for these little inconveniences. Try the old-fashioned croquettes, you will have no regrets!

Dungelmann isn't a restaurant but a butcher, a real good looking and inviting butcher with a lot of fresh Meat and specialities.
