If you look into this small restaurant you do not expect a little garden where you can also sit when the weather is good. The food, the sandwiches are taste great. They won a few prizes. When you are in town and search for a place to lunch then try it. You won't regret

Came here for dinner with a party of 10 people. The restaurant did well to accommodate us and the waitress was attentive and efficient. Despite some people coming late so she had to come to the table several times to take/deliver drinks. The restaurant is cosy inside and also offers an outdoor seating area which is so popular weeknights and... More

My friend brought me here to have coffee and cakes after our heavy lunch meals. I was instantly captivated by this cafe restaurant which has a wonderful warmly decorated interior (many frames of old historical pictures and prints), cosy furnitures, and a nice garden in the back. They serve very good and delicious cookies (FOC!) and cakes, made by themselves... More

This small restaurant serves imaginative and very tasty sandwiches, as well as very good soup. The space is delightful, moreover, with nicely-framed old historical prints on the walls. It's a bit out of the tourist's way but well worth seeking out, not least because it offers very good value for money. I'll definitely go here again.

You will for sure find a sandwich you have never tried before, and it will be tasty! The hot chocolate was also very nice with "real" whipped cream (opposed to the spray cream you sadly get in most cafes today). The interior is cozy and it was interesting that you could sit in the backyard in the middle of the... More

the place is actually so so cute. in the very heart of the city (peatonal zone) this cosy restaurant is perfect for a dinner but even more for a delicious sunday brunch. what i love most is the outside spot/terrace/old "jardin" heated of course, where you can sit without feeling the overwhelming sensation of being at some caribe island (when... I go here at least once every two weeks, and am never bored with the menu. They have the most original sandwiches and simple lunch dishes, and also the cookies (in the jars on the tables) are delicious. The atmosphere is very cosy.

This small cafe in the so called Hofqwartier in the centre of the Hague serves lovely sandwiches and soups. Even if you just go for coffee, that's nice. They leave cookie jars on the tables and you can help yourself to some of their homemade cookies. You can buy packets of them to take home. In Summer, sit outside on... More

Located in a narrow city street in The Hague 't Hof van Eten is a gourmet sandwich place. Really nice breads with very original fillings or toppings, whichever the case may be and homemade sauces and chutneys. This is going to be a difficult one to get a table at very shortly, I'm sure. Very good value at €6-8 a... More
