Original Indonesian restaurant

It's easy to find Indonesian restaurant in The Netherland, especially in The Hague, But this restaurant tastes very original. The mie bakso tastes even better than most of Indonesian bakso anywhere, even back home in Indonesia.

This restaurant (or better to be said cafe) serves delicious real Indonesian food. Unlike any other "Indonesian" restaurants in the Netherlands, the taste of the food there is not adjusted to the locals' taste. Therefore, for the ones who want to experience the real Indonesian food with the real taste, this is the correct place to visit. The place is... More

I wouldn't say it is an restaurant. This was just a cafe. Don't plan Romantic dinner there. It's a place just to jump for one hour to get food. Food was nice. Also some drinks were pretty sweet and new taste. There is no menu in English but wait or was ready to help and explain.

So I can say I fall in love at first bite in this warung. Their nasi rames, gule kambing, baksooo, oh my God! Theirs are even better than those offers in real Indonesian restaurant in Indonesia! You can expect higher for their Indonesian taste and they could give you beyond your expectation. Call me exaggerated but I have high standard... More

Not a fancy looking place, but clean and homey. Great authentic Indonesian food for a very reasonable price. Starters are homemade, warmed up at the spot, cheap and good! Sate dish was a lot of varies food and tasted very good.

Just had a dinner once with my friends. The best part was 1)the very kind waiter - who can talk on many topics and challenge you on different accent recognition;) and 2)shrimps in lemon taste souse, surprisingly refreshing. Although I am not a big fan of Indonesian food I like the place for the non posh atmosphere. Recommended to go... More

Tempted with the good rating of this restaurant we decided to eat there and tried their Bakso noodle soup and Nasi Gudeg (Javanese schotel). It took 30 minutes until the soup reached our table and more than 1 hour for the schotel! Unbelievable. We also ordered snack and turned out that the snack was cold inside. It is real tasty,... Serves up really authentic, incredible Indoensian food. We ordered a soto ayam, tahu telor. It definitely lives up to the Nasi Campur, with a whole variety of dishes laid out to be chosen, was tempted to go for that, but realised that's more for lunch rather than dinner. They also have a satay rijsttafel, with the adjacent table ordering it,... More

Den Hague has great Indonesian food. At Warung Bude Kati you can have the real taste of Java at takeaway prices. The food - like most Indonesian street stalls - is precooked. You make your selection from about 25 different dishes and eat. Of course there is food that needs to be cooked just before eating and you can order... More

Okay, this review is coming from me, Indonesian, born and raised in Indonesia, now living in the Netherlands. Although most of the reviews are positive, I still need to defend my favorite warung (i.e. Indonesian small eating place - so not restaurant). This place is the real deal, the place where you go for authentic Indonesian special food. Order the... More
