HanTing is one of my favourite places in the Hague for special occasions or to taste some really excellent food. It is easy to find (even Michelin star) restaurants that are overpriced, serve poor food or have rude and arrogant staff. Hanting is one of the exceptions. Dishes are thought out creatively and prepared with passion. The chef has an... More

I like this place: they serve delicate, innovation fusion cuisine. As someone who cooks a lot, I welcome a meal where I don't exactly know how they prepared it. This is really one of the only places in The Hague (except for Mochi and Bog) who can really deliver a good vegetarian haute cuisine sort of experience for those who... More

We came to the place per the reco from TA and I have to say you should only go to this place for dinner if you have a full stomach and a lot of extra money. For 50 euro each, we had a 4 course dinner. each of them is so tiny that I wonder who can ever get full... More

I was taken here by my friends for a birthday dinner and I was extremely pleased with the overall experience. We have the 4 course meal with a white wine from Spain. The portions were nice, the flavours were very interesting and the marriage of French and Chinese was done very well. The food had a perfect balance spice, savoury... More

I am no longer delighted by the "latest" culture of gels, foams, brush of some sauce that all higher end restaurants have adapted. There is no longer a place where you can enjoy wholesome, simple, rustic food if you want to enjoy a luxurious meal. There are no more Keith Floyds in the world sadly! Having said that, some restaurants... More

For a michelin star restaurant the prices are very reasonable, definitaly comparable to other restaurants. So if you want to have a Michelin star experience for a good price, this is a place to go. The restaurant is conveniently located in the centre of The Hague and you would just walk right past it if you didn't know. Once inside... More

I went to Han Ting a first time two years ago, had the surprise menu and really loved it. I decided to come back and try this time their Chinese Herbs menu which is supposed to represent the 5 elements and where each dish is supposed to have a specific effect on a specific part of the body. While everything... More

Plates are incredibly beautiful, with a burst of taste, colors and texture, offered in an infinite attention to details. We had the 5 course surprise menu, it was a lovely diner indeed full of surprises. The staff really takes care of everything, friendly and well organized. One reserve: the decoration is too dark and a bit old fashioned.

The price quality for a 1- star Michelin restaurant is very high. We loved the decor - you will find yourself in a modern Asian atmosphere. Chef Han is really an artist... Go and discover this fusion restaurant

This is not a Chinese restaurant! It is superb European cuisine done very creatively with the precision of Japanese cuisine. Each dish has lots of different tastes and textures, with sour, aromatic, piquant, fresh tastes. Each dish looks like a picture and is a pleasure on the eye as well as on the taste buds. We chose a la carte... More
