Stumbled upon this deli/bistro at lunch time after a visit to Panorama Mesdag. Its tiny, very French and a great find.We took the plat du jour -lapin a la moutarde. This was preceded by a very large salad and very fresh baguette.Sadly no time for their tempting desserts.Locals came in for takeaway baguettes.

Le Gone is the place to go for real food. Go for theplat du jour and enjoy France in The Hague. The selection of cheeses is not to be missed, as are the deserts: can' t resist the tarte au limon. Make sure you reserve your table on a saturday as you will find the restaurant packed for lunch.

My husband has also once ordered a takeaway and definitely the 'ris de veau' was delicious. However, our true Le Gone experience is based on the Christmas feasts we have ordered from Le Gone over the last two... More

Although small, there is a great variety of choice.
