We went there with a group of 6 people. During the evening the level of service, food and wine where excellent. We had the 4-course-suprise menu and every course was very good.

Restaurant “Kip” (Eng: "Chicken" ) you must discover a bit. The name suggests a kind of "MacKip", while they don't even have chicken on the menu! And the appearance of the building (next to the restaurant cluster “Westelijk Handelsterrein” ) and the interior look more like a student association building than a restaurant from the above-average class. Thereby it does... More

Restaurant Kip means Chicken, but it is so, so much more. Our group of over 60 people was welcomed, fed and watered, and then watered again, for a superb evening. The staff were attentive and very much on the ball. Nothing was too much trouble, especially for those among us with food issues. The portions were generous, the service quick... More

I went on my own mid week January. The dining room is stone/wood/fire cosiness - wooden tables, white napkins..very good taste! Things took a while to get started..I was brought some water..then nothing for about 10 minutes..then an amuse bouche of fish soup..and then a menu.. But things picked up. I went for the four course surprise - said I... More

I went here for a meal with my daughters in summer. We were able to sit outside in the garden under large old trees. We had the surprise menu which was really good. Service was very good, and the atmosphere was cozy and romantic. We had a great time and I would like to return with my husband too!

Went in 5 minutes past their opening on a monday afternoon. The place was completely empty, but none the less charming. Felt a little underdressed, but very professional waiter. Only ordered a main, as I was meeting friends for a late supper. They provided wonderful apetizers and a lovely glass of red wine. Highly recommended.

We are so glad to find this place. Two years ago when we visited Rotterdam we saw this restaurant only from outside (it's only open for dinner), were impressed already by how it looks like - the cozy interior and a bit view to the garden at the backyard - and we thought, we have to come here for dinner... The restaurant was rather empty the night we went, but the menu seemed appealing. We settled for the 3 course surprise menu. Very good explanations of the staff, every dish was a great surprise. Subtle flavors in all of them. The 3 course meal was enough, although if you like cheese getting the 4 course menu would be advisable. A... More

Our party of 4 went for the 3 course suprise menu (also available in 4 and 5 courses) on a saturday eveing (no reservation). We didn't know what the dishes would be, but could set some boundries and preferences at the start. So we asked for an all fish menu, whitch was no problem at all for the chef. what... More
